The story just get as e be. Her womb may have had issues completely unrelated to the fp she was on, but since she was guilty * of deceiving/not involving her husband in the family planning matter it was easy to crucify her and so on.

Her husband could and should have forgiven her after all if it were vice versa she would have forgiven willingly or pressured to forgive.

I want to share my experiences cos I believe it will assist you in making a decision.
I and dh planned to have our second baby after the first clocked 5 but he does not want any form of birth control so I resulted to the rhythm method. (It took me 8 months to get a gang of it and coupled with the fact that my cycle is consistent) . That is the method I used all through the 13 years we had all our babies. I gave birth to my last baby this February. Before delivery, I have started singing fp to his hearing almost every time we are doing the do. He told me he is afraid of the many side effects : weight gain, cancer and all others.
I told him that previously you said it may affect conceiving and now, that we had stop child bearing you are coming up with another story. After so much going forth and back, he agreed that I should take a suitable one. So I opted for implanon which I did in March, till now, no side effect whatsoever.
In another news, I have a neighbour that went for fp without the consent of the hubby. The second baby is 12yrs old now.and they have been ttcing since she was 3 yrs old ( to the hubby sha. He didn't know that his wife is taking depo p.) After some years she started complaining of stomach ache and they were managing it at home. One day, she fainted, the hubby took her to their family doctor and that is where he got to know that she is on fp. To cut the story short, she lost her womb, her home and her children because she packed out of the house out of shame and the hubby does not gave her access to her kids.
My point is, if you can let him see reasons why you need it try to convince him. If he will not bulge, my dear, YOU first!! You need to be alive for your kids and your family and if you can adhere strictly to your safe period, you can try the rhythm method if he will be able to control his urges. If all this fails, A Yoruba adage goes thus "TO BA KO IWAJU SI E KO TA, TO BA KO EHIN SI E KO TA, TO BA KU IWO NIKAN, KO TUN ERO ARA RE PA. Men will be men!! That's my one cent.

I am not lactating well enough to exclusively breastfeed so I substitute mostly with formula (currently on SMA Gold) but she hardly takes more than 60mls per feed which has been her feeding capacity since week 1 of birth (I expect her appetite and consumption to have grown bigger by now).
Although she has gained 1.2kg since birth but still looks very small for her body length/height.
Please don't jump and pass my post as its really beginning to be of strong concern for me.

Continue with the abidec and see if there will be any improvement. However I don't thing there's any cause for alarm , she's gaining weight. The 60ml formula plus breast milk may be just enough for her.

Do you interchange breast and formula? How frequently does she feed? If she's gaining weight she's fine, don't let the quantity the tin says stress you out. My baby never took more than 180mls of formula even when the tin said he should have moved. To graduate from 150 sef was war. And weight is not our problem. Just feed on demand and monitor her schedule

Hope is not diaper rash, good you're exposing her bumbum. When my DD had a wound on her bum due to excess pooping, she even refused to close her legs, I used Vaseline blue seal before they gave us clotrimazole Dustin powder and it healed.

I think babies are supposed to lose a lil weight the first few weeks of birth and then start gaining it back. I was also feeling that my princess was light weight but I got to know that the weight on the scale is what matters and not how the baby feel on ur hands. Above all what matters most is a healthy baby. 1.2kg is a good addition if you ask me.

NIFES I saw your mention, to be honest dear I don't really have anything to say when it comes to feeding. Maybe cos my DD was/is a picky eater, she even rejected breastmilk at 3months, introduced formula and twas war, my breastmilk even started tasting sour and reduced. Any amount she took I always try to supplement with breastmilk WI serious fight. Her weight didn't bother me but I knew she was healthy that was my major concern.
