deomelo: You shouldn't believe everything someone says. Better to crosscheck for yourself. As per they not having a website, it hurts that a postulation that lots of people down here don't travel round the country more often seems valid. That they don't have a website doesn't change the fact that they've been reliably supplying eltrctricity to customers for years. 2 Likes |

three: Instead if asking me not to believe what other people say, why not show us facts to dispute that assertions with. Show us the law or the Constitution that says State governments like Lagos State can serve State residents. You are yet to support all your flawed assertions in this thread with facts, even ordinary website you can not produced, but you are asking other people to crosscheck their fact. What a joker. |

horsepower101:what exactly will be the source of power for these mini generation companies? definitely not gas because we don't have a widespread gas pipeline like in the western countries and diesel is too expensive, solar is also not economical at the present price level for power. |

ernieboy: This is the most ignorant and unintelligent assertion ever. Your website is your front dooor Your website is our receptionist and customer service Your website is where people go to find out about your operation instead of getting on a plane from all over the world or driving thousands or hundreds of miles to your location. Your website tells people your phone number and your address. Your website is important because it helps you establish credibility as a business. Not having a website is criminal and corporate negligence. Now, back to the website issue. You and the other joker can not come up with a website simply because there's not because major companies and even serious companies have websites. You people need to stop peddling lies that you can not back up with facts. 4 Likes |

abokikhalifa: I dont enjoy up 5 hours uninterrupted power supply straight. The annoying thing is there is no difference between then and now. I still always have to buy fuel for my gen and use it most times. Really this things dont bother me no more. I have given up on the country. If i had the money i will even fix bad roads myself just to avoid the annoying dodging of pot holes. I dont see anything to be happy about in what fashola has said. I have been paying for the electricity that i do not use while still providing electricity for myself with generator. Small time na to just buy solar panels and totally ignore anything phcn or whatever they call themselves. But the question i want to ask you is; what does the govt want to do for the people even with tax payers money? |

Anyone from Plateau and parts of Kaduna will substantiate the facts about NESCO. They are an electricity company from the colonial times. Originally part of a conglomerate including the defunct Amalgamated Tin mines of Nigeria and others. They do not have a a website. Everything he said about them is true. They supply electricity to parts of Plateau and Southern Kaduna. Also supply to companies like Nasco in Jos. deomelo: |

deomelo:oga u are the ignorant one here. if you render a service where your costumer base is local why will anyone need to travel thousands of miles? the point is their customer base I.e electricity consumers, are confined within a locality that is in close proximity to the biz and if the viz is making profits a website is not essential and it becomes secondary, even in western countries where there is so much awareness and penetration of ICT many local businesses whose costumer base are local do not have websites. and as for that your careless statement of describing not having a website as criminal and... well it largely show your shallow level of reasoning. |

igbodefender: I knew a thing like this will soon be made available. As long as it favors the north it will be made available. This has opened door for those northern brother witl solar system of less than 2MW and those igbo businesses operation in cluster. It is far cheaper to power a diesel engine of 500kva or 2MW than have 1000 units of 2kva petrol gen |

CodeTemplar: Industrial clusters and business hubs around the country will soon get a new lease of life upon completion of off-grid projects in locations around Lagos, Aba and Kano, BusinessDay has gathered. What is an ipob post without tribalism and bigotry even though the largest REA power projects to support industrial clusters like Over 50,000 shops in Araria market in Aba is in the SE, you ignorant bigots still managed to insert tribalism and bigotry.. It really doesn't matter what government efforts they conceived and carried out to better you people, you still can not dislodge your desire to sink yourself in the same tribalism and bigotry. 1 Like |

You are are the one speaking from a position of ignorance, falsehood and arrogance. You first stated that NESCO is a govt agency in reply to @three. Its apparent you assumed so because of the corporation's name. Can you show proof that NESCO is a govt agency? Will be waiting for your reply.
