Okay, noted. Thanks.

How long ago did you submit? I suppose it's less than 9 months ago. Do LOE and add the data page of the current passports for both of you (do not add stamps again)

Abeg people should stop adding old passports to their application, I have always maintained that its oversabi, they do not ask for it, it creates confusion and people have gotten their applications cancelled erroneously because of this, even if they eventually re-open the application, the heartache of the initial cancellation is not worth it.

Please someone should help, I want to know if I should register for NOUN MBA which is closing on Monday, or go for online masters because my CRS is currently 435

You could go for an online pg cert or masters. It's faster than a NOUN degree. With a pg cert you should be able to raise your CRS score to 450, because your educational level moves to ''Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years '' .You can finish an online pg cert within 3-5 months depending on your funds and the structure of the program. I would go for a more flexible program I can finish faster if it were me. Also make sure the school for your online degree is accredited. Read the fine print.

The certificate also doesn't have to be only postgraduate. It can be from a college or an undergraduate certificate. The important point to note is that the certificate or diploma can't be done before your 3 or 4 year bachelors degree. It must be after. This is for those who want to evaluate their pre-degree courses.

It also can't be a professional development/ training certificate. The certificate must be graded or have credits and you must be able to receive a transcript at the end of the program (for ECA)

So yesterday, my spouse (the principal applicant in this waka) received an email from Children's Practice Ikoyi to come repeat my x-ray tests.

We were so worried because the mail had just my name. We rushed down there in the middle of the day and found out that both of us had to redo it and there was no medical concern (Thank God!!!). Also, one of the staff there informed us that most people who had their medicals done on the same day as ours have to repeat their tests. I was thankful and upset with the hospital at the same time.

Anyway, we checked our profile today and we have passed the medicals. Hallelujah!

Now crossing my fingers and hoping for speedy processing.

So when did you do your first medicals before you were told that you had to repeat the x-ray test?

April 26

Ok. Because I had mine on the 30th of April, and everyone that did their medicals that day were asked to come the following day for a repeat X-ray.

Please can I use this Fax number (+1 416.972.9004), which I found on WES website to fax a Certificate to them?

Also, will it be a problem if the date of the Affidavit for Change of Name is different from the date the news paper publication was made (publication was made in 2015 and affidavit in 2018) ?

For online degrees, stay away from US or Canadian schools. I'm not sure but there is a caveat on this on the CIC website.

For Canada: •you must have studied at a school within Canada (foreign campuses don’t count)
•you had to be enrolled full time for at least eight months, and have been physically present in Canada for at least eight months. A Canadian degree, diploma or certificate must either have been earned at an accredited Canadian university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute in Canada. Distance learning counts, but only if it made up less than half your study.

This is not a caveat on online study. It is a caveat for claiming points for study in Canada. You can do online course with a school in Canada but you can't claim points for studying in Canada unless...

Use her married name which should be the same as in her international passport. The name on the WES account does not have to be same as that for her school certificate which is likely in her maiden name, it's not an issue.

I created my WES account in my maiden name because my passport is in my maiden name. I also registered for IELTS in my maiden name.

I have decided to cahnge my passport to my married name after IELTS before continuing with the application. Is it possible/advisable?

Hello Seniors,

I just got my updated ECA with ACCA's 1 yr certificate.

Can someone help with how this certificate is added to express entry profile as it relates to the following:

1. Full Time or Part Time
2: Number of years of study
3: Country of education (UK is not available but England, Scotland and Wales are there)
4: Start and End Date (is this the year I start ACCA and year I wrote the last paper to qualify for the certificate?)

Please help!!!!!!!!

I'm in the same position as you. I'm not changing anything until we are in Canada for the sake of consistency..cant deal with wahala of name change. marriage certificate is enough proof I'm married

Please leave your passport the way it is....it's not compulsory you change your name...what's more important to them is your marriage certificate...besides you don't want the additional stress of passport wahala...Or do you?

So, I had my speaking test done couple of minutes ago with the BC. I was scheduled for 1.40pm (Gulf time), I arrived at 1.35pm (village pple nearly got me, but God pass them).

The questions was:

1a. What's your full name
b. Where do you come from
c. Do you work/Study
d. Do you like your job
e. What would you like to change about your job.

2. CUE CARD:
Discuss what you recently did that made you happy (The word "Recently" made me forgot Jay's PPF format).

2a. Describe what you did.
b. Where you did it
c. Whom you did it with.

3a. Does money determine one's happiness
b. Do rich people have happiness
c. Which one is important in a relationship money/happiness. (I used Tiwa and wizkid as an example here, as I chose happiness)

The guy just swerved the topic:

a. How often do you use map
b. Were you taught how to use map
c. Which one is more easy to use paper map/e-map.
d. How often do you eat int'l food, and what new int'l food have you tried recently.
b. Do people in your country eat/value int'l food.

Now heading home to prepare for tommorow's LWR.

It'll end in praise!.

Hello all,

Please does anyone have experience with this: my husband is a doctor with up to four years of medical practice in the last 10 years. He is not practising now and doesn't intend to... Can he still apply with Noc skill type 0? I am not sure how that works with EE or PNP.

I would appreciate your answers.

Tanks in advance

Yes it is allowed and not an issue. Please upload/submit newspaper publication showing change of name together with a copy of your marriage certificate where applicable.
