If you are selected for Germany, you'll get your mail. If don't get the mail, then you are not selected. Pasting a screenshot for you wouldn't change these. The German contingents are notified now because they have some processes to complete with DAAD, and the language course will soon start.

Others (China and France) would soon be notified. Most (if not all) of those that received mail today had Germany as first or only choice.

But France and China also have language courses

Almost everybody shortlisted for the interview have excellent profile in one way or the other. So, chill with this your profile wahala. Even if you have exact profile with him, are you from the same State of origin?

Congrats guys! I chose Germany as my first choice eventhough I didn't choose any particular German school or course. Just chose other and other and chose french schools as my second and third. I really preferred the German schools to the rest but my choice of schools weren't listed.

Wonder where I went wrong cos I was fairly confident with my interview. No need to smart. Congrats once again guys!

That mail was sent to 78 candidates, (I have read it my friend got it) if you remember thatduring the application, we were informed to register with daad if you chose any school in Germany. Maybe those 78 candidates didn't register with daad during the registration and the said mail is to remind them to go and do the needful. Which ever way, let us chill. Congrats guys. I am on my way to France (amen) who is with me?

Amen first of all. However, your hypothesis has a lot of maybes. Any contrary view? Guys with the mail can you confirm or disprove this assertion?

It shouldn't call for panic. Some guys who registered with DAAD got mail few days after the interview to update their info on DAAD portal based on missing or certain certificate. But I think those getting the mail now from PTDF might be successful but didn't fill the required form initially. German Language is usually once in a week even while studying for DAAD sponsored students. Going for the language is really not necessary for now as all selected courses are taught in English. The main reason for contacting is for admission as most German school admission will soon come to an end.

For China and France, I think you guys should just relax. Everything, na turn by turn. Also, I forsee many France receiving the mail because France has majority of the applications due to difficulty or incomplete info on DAAD Application from the beginning. So, if by any chance you selected Germany be it 3rd choice, you may likely get the mail.

I did the DAAD registration during the initial PTDF application around 24-01-2018 to be précised.
Got the mail as well from PTDF to fill the form.

After log in.. Couldn't proceed.

Not necessarily @ the bold. However, I don't think any PhD candidate has confirmed, at least in this page, that he/she got a mail today.
