saeedowolab: This Buhari mindset of yours is what is killing Nigeria! No offense. What will asking previous administrators solve? The man in question who generated that lump sum probably did his homework and observed the flaws in the previous and get down to work immediately and he got results. He won't achieve anything blaming past administrators? One can't move forward looking backwards. Learn from the past and move the F on. |

And even after that ur chances of gaining admission into the university is so slim. meanwhile somewhere in Africa (Botswana) their government are busy begging the youth to have free modern education for free, with accommodation, and monthly stipends. God will punish whoever is using this country just for his/her selfish will. My brother reading this, abeg wise up! Naija no fit help u oh 1 Like |

HigherEd: The question learned minds should be asking is what changes to make JAMB to be remitting hundreds of millions now while pre Buhari they are remitting zero? who was eating the money? Can this be attributed to the change brought about by this regime? 2 Likes |

And tomorrow, they’ll starting dancing on how much money they made. I know two people who couldn’t write jamb this year because of the fee. You can’t be ripping citizens off and be celebrating revenues, same thing that happens in customs especially in Nigeria where the end result of the money is in a fat fo.ols pocket. No work on our dilapidated schools to show for it. The jamb exam in its entirety should be scrapped off. 1 Like |

The whole Nigerian educational system survives by stealing from the poor students who are blackmailed & boxed into a corner with nobody to speak on their behalf. *bHigh NECO & WAEC fees. *"Scratch Cards" scam by NECO & WAEC * High JAMB Fees. * High Tertiary education fees. *Arbitrary increase in fees. * Victims of the "Handouts' scam by lecturers. * Banging innocent girls for marks. * Mercenaries for hirer to write exams for dullards. * Bribery to get admission. The list goes on & on. JAMB should be ashamed. 1 Like |

adecz:Well, all this bullshit exits because you've boxed yourself into a corner and think that only education in a university can get you a job, or a means of livelihood. You will still finish from the university and comeout to continue running up and down with badly written CVs looking for job for Job for the next 20 years. Use sense now, know your tallent and and survive on genuine work. Start Now! Don't wait ! Artificial intelligence is coming up. Driverless cars etc. The jobs you think you are seeing now will no longer exist when you finish from school. Facebook boy did not finish university. 1 Like |

Earthbound: I thought JAMB is just a candidate rating system, there is no pass or fail. It’s just a system that rates all the candidates that took the exam in a particular year, against each other and their preference courses and chosen tertiary institutions vi-sa-vi available seats in the chosen courses/institutions. That is why a combination of intelligence and prior due-diligence research, is needed so you can chosen a tuff aka course/institution combinations where your rating may likely scale better, compare to other similarly situated candidates. |

After generating this huge, JAMB ends up paying CBT centers 600 per candidate after all the suffering. Even with the 600, they minus the money for absentees after providing facilities with your own money.... God is watching oooooo |

Re: JAMB Makes N8.5 Billion From 2018 Admission Forms by authority2006(m): 8:00am On May 13, 2018 |
HigherEd: You've made mistake about that part. Such profits were never disclosed before the present administration came on board. And since this administration came on board, JAMB has been declaring this kind profits and the money goes into the central account. Nothing will be siphoned because it is unlike in the past when there were numerous accounts being operated by a single agency and raw cash generated from the sales of forms were being kept in the offices and individual private accounts TSA! |
