The Catholic church has been doing just that to victims of abuse even for abuses committed before the pope was born..
Adeboye owes Nigerians an apology for the role he played in our present predicament as a nation.
I am not qualified to preach humility and I know its not a Nigerian thing for an elder to own up and apologize but I think its the right thing to do.

You are not Christ, face your tribulations alone. We have enough hunger and poverty in the land to contend with than to add your defence to the list of struggles to overcome. Fear is a great tool to subdue a people and the religious leaders in Africa have learned that trick.
