As we are waiting for the list, a question is on going on Brilla right now. The question is ; Who is the player wey you go See for the list, and you go swear for Gernot Rohr? Who is the Fringe Player wey you go See for the list and you go dey happy? Lol, Nigerians are not nice with Akpeyi for the first question. Some even called him "Akpa something" Others "Akpa Enyi" , Nobody wants to See him in the Camp. Junior Lokosa tops for the second question, most people are of the opinion that his invite will go a long way to encourage our local players. That you don't have to play in Europe to make the National team. 1 Like |

Kenneth Omeruo is trending on twitter for no good reason. One agent is doing his job. Omeruo is expected to make the list anyway. 1 Like |

The super eagles job will be hard for a Nigerian to do... The amount of pressure from agents and NFF officials on Rohr right now can be overwhelming. Everyone trying to add their player. 3 Likes |

Two trophies in the bag for Kayode...the Ukrainian FA Cup title and now the League title. And if he remains with Shahktar, he will be in the UCL next season too... Congrats Larry Kayode... forgiveness: 3 Likes |

tbaba1234:great performance from him. With some world class saves. he needs to learn to hold on to the ball, as some strikers won't be forgiving. it seems his team was on the back foot for majority of the game |

I know it is just one game but mehn.. What a performance. Uzoho showed massive improvements in this one game. Still needs to be more assertive on his grips shaa. But I can see more of why Rohr sent Pionetti to him and Alloy to Akpeyi... And I hope Alloy is found now... Akpeyi Berra alert the SA Police if Alloy is still "missing"... Lol tbaba1234: |

If the NFF and Some Agents eventually pressure Gernot Rohr to add some names that doesn't deserve the call up, I won't be surprised, after all this is Nigeria where everything goes . But I will be highly impressed if Rohr can stand his ground with with his mèrit standard. 1 Like |

tbaba1234:You are right. Sincerely, coaching the SEs is One of the toughest job in the country. No wonder Sunday Oliseh resigned and ran away. The heat experienced by the team's handlers is second to none. The only thing Nigerians are obliged and loyal to is the National Team(with the world cup around the corners, everyone don pocket their love for european clubs). Expect Nigerians to monitor and scrutinize every move Rohr and his crew make. No room for lapses. It's not easy representing the largest black nation in the world. Na prayer I de pray for Uzoho... Make God give the guy a big heart and courage to man that post. Sometimes, I do wish we can channel same or half the energy and pressure we put on the national teams officers on our political leaders to deliver... Who knows we might experience a turn around in our politics. 3 Likes |

Pinnick: Nigeria Not Paying Atlético A Dime, Sundowns Paid Barca N1.5 Billion For Friendly Amaju Pinnick has revealed that the Nigeria Football Federation did not pay any money to bring Atlético de Madrid to Nigeria for a friendly against the Super Eagles because of their relationship with Liga de Fútbol Profesional. The NFF president has claimed that Absa Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns had to fork out four million dollars (approximately N1.5 billion in Nigerian currency) before Barcelona agreed to travel to South Africa for the Mandela Centenary Cup match. ''That is the beauty about what Shehu (Dikko) has done, we are not paying Atléticoa dime. Sundowns paid Barcelona four million dollars, we are not paying,'' Pinnick told Channels Television . ''The arrangement that the League Management has with La Liga some few years ago, you know La Liga have an office here, they pay taxes here, there are people they employ here so we have beautiful relationship with La Liga. ''We have just gotten their landing permit to fly into Uyo. They loved the Stadium when they came.'' The friendly between Nigeria and the Europa League finalists will be staged at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on May 22. **Ifeanyi Emmanuel Photo Credit : en.atleticodemadrid.com Source: http://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=27738 Russia 2018 WC Countdown: 31 days 2 hours 51 mins to go 2 Likes |
