Then people will comment as if they are talking to the person on nairaland.

Yahoo boys are the stingiest human beings I've ever come across. You no fit see their one naira fall. They make the excuse of 'I work hard for my money' but are always quick to beg for the little you possess.

Gee boys are in no way like those slave traders. They don't lose anything because even if they spend some cash for tools, they still get back their capital plus so much profit. Now you and Seunn said because they spend the money on white products, then they're like those slave traders... The white products they buy with the money, is it not for their own use? Phones, cars, wines, clothes etc... They're (gee boys) the ones who still enjoy it. They don't lose in anyway. They collected the whites' money and spend some on white product, for their own enjoyment.
I don't see how using someone's money to buy something from the person is a loss.
That's a wrong comparism.

The issue here at stake is not a micro level problem but a macro(-economic) one. Let me explain it once more and see if you can be diligent enough to comprehend:

- does the Nigerian economy as a whole benefits from the activities of internet fraudsters? -

Seun Kuti says no and one of the reasons (among others) is that the money they fraudulently get is quickly evaporated into the buying of foreign goods. Not only that, they add to the image of the luxuries, and other non fraudsters will quickly want to imitate them adding huge pressure on the local currency.

This has been the topic for a few days and my friend this Kuti of a guy has a very valid point here.
