Qupp:No, I don't have any idea but I think you should contact those schools that offer MSc and send in a good application. How many years working experience do you have? I have seen people with 2:2 getting MSc offers so still try and you might be lucky |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by KlausMike(m): 9:39pm On May 14, 2018 |
aduku1: It shouldn’t. When i applied for mine,my salary account was less than 100k. You can also include 6 months payslip as a proof of earnings. But state in your letter of explanation that your sponsor would be responsible for funding your trip, living and school bills. Your sponsor should also write you a letter of sponsorship, stating his relationship and what he plans to cover. 1 Like 1 Share |

Please help with an advice; I recently applied for visitors visa to Canada and it was approved. Now my school acceptance offer just got through. Do I apply for the study permit before travelling and considering the ticket fee which is really expensive going and coming back to apply for study permit doesn't seem advisable. But I read a visitor can apply for study permit in the VAC center at Los Angeles which means I have to apply for usa visa. Please any one ever experienced this. |

Tosinoa:Tosinoa, Yes you can change your visitor visa to study permit only if you've completed a short term course which is a pre-requisite to your intended program and also applying within Canada will lower your chances to getting your visa approved because one of the major requirements of a study permit visa is to prove to the visa officer that you will leave Canada at the end of your authorized stay. Again, home ties is an important factor to put into consideration here. So, applying within Canada shows that you're trying not to leave and wants to stay longer and once your visa is rejected within Canada, it will jeopardize your future chances of getting a TRV to Canada as you've previously failed to abide by the terms and conditions imposed on and defined on your visitors visa. Many has tried this trick of yours and end up getting refused and were asked to go and apply in their home country. Therefore, I best advise you go for your visiting visa and come back to Nigeria to apply for your study visa. With this, you have shown the visa officer that you're truly a genuine visitor that has once visited Canada and now coming back home to apply for your TRV. All the best! 1 Like |

BoystoMen:BoystoMen, Madam, start working on presenting a rational SOP/LOE before the arrival of your CAIPS file because that's only what I can see that went wrong in your previous refused application, for any further advise I dish out to you, will be based on guess until we see your CAIPS file. When you're done with your SOP/LOE you can possibly pm some experienced individuals here to assist in reviewing them for you. Also endeavour to share your CAIPS file once you've successfully acquired it, so we can pick it up from there. It shall end in praises next time! |

aduku1:aduku1, I see no problem at all, as a matter of fact it adds more integrity to your application. The visa officer only concern is to check if there is any monthly inflow and outflow of salaries on your bank statement and that's all. All financial responsibilities to cater for your expenses in Canada will be on your sponsor and not you. Also remember to attach your payslips, employment letters, introductory letter, work ID, resume etc....along side with your bank statement and you will be fine. All the best! 1 Like |

Prudento: I have seen eligibility of review started and within 24 hours, ended and a decision reached on the verdict of a visa applicant. Many people don’t even notice these changes sometimes. Yes you can still be called for medicals, but there is no predictable fast rules that CIC follows, just enjoy the ride. Given the recent processing times I can assure you that your decision is loading if background check is not also processing at the same time. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by jnyuwa02: 3:47am On May 15, 2018 |
tylerwill: There is nothing going on, it’s normal buddy, don’t scare him. Sometimes review of eligibility takes months. But I am predicting this person will get a decision in a week or two given the current processing time. If review of eligibility is triggered on anyone’s profile without background check processing at the same time, it’s means a decision is loading. |

BoystoMen: You might want to work on a strong SOP analyzing your job prospect back home with an MBA. Talk about your passion for the field and how an MBA degree can be translated back to Nigeria. Tell them the MBA admission was not easy to obtain, that the school vetted you seriously and you had to justify your purpose of visit to the school before an admisssion was extended to you. Tell them your husband is your world and you are all one one knit family; that the only reason why you are going to Canada is because you cherish education and will get the best of it wherever it can be found. Argue and show why you are absolutely a genuine student who can be counted to study at designated institution and return back to Nigeria if extended the privilege of a student visa. Good luck! 4 Likes |
