charlesemeka85:eze has the height and quality required of a good defender....all he needs is a coach will bring out the best in him. I pray he gets to play in the friendlies and could as well get a move to one of the Italian clubs.... I will pick him over omeruo anytime anyday.... 1 Like |

tbaba1234:exactly my brother... I was waiting for sir forgiveness epistle... he never disappoints. may be sir komekn will give us his tomorrow. that's the beauty of this thread... we all don't reason in same direction...there is always disparities in our opinion.. but still we shouldn't allow our individual opinion beclound our sense of reason for the team's progress. |

I feel same Boss Joseph. But I just decided to hide all that and just stay focused on the list. Onyekuru was in super form and surely in line to feature in Nigeria's provisional list since the start of the about-to-be-concluded season. His early season form and eventual invitation to the Super Eagles was testament to his quality and he was in line to possibly break into Nigeria's final 23. But unfortunately, that old ugly monster called "Injury" came and ruined his chances. It is really sad. Onyekuru will be back. I expect to see him at Afcon 2019. He should just stay strong and keep the fire burning. He has a bright future ahead. Also, Kayode. I feel for him too. But I guess it came down to a choice between him and Simy. Kayode should keep pushing. He is still a part of the team even from the fringes. I guess we can only wish the team the best and pray for all players to stay fit and be ready and for those recovering to recover well. It is nice hearing from you again Boss. Trust all is well with you Sir. Been a long while. joseph1013: |

charlesemeka85: You seems to change from team chemistry to Chan competition. Did Eze play in the friendlies? Why didn't he play? E for play now. My friend, Eze is not good enough for the super eagles. Take it or leave it. What has Arokoyo done? Na only Arokoyo you see on the list? Arokoyo is miles better than Eze. GBAM Besides, I was trying to show you how lowly Eze is rated in the pecking order in regards to the pedigree of the league he plays hence the need to make reference on Ambrose and Arokoyo. It doesn't mean I wanted Arokoyo on the list. However, you don't even know he is already playing in Swedish league. Ambrose is far ahead of those lots. He should have been chosen ahead of Eze. EOD. |

Truidstar: Just saw the Dessers guy, a very different striker to what we have on ground. Ighalo a traditional striker, Nwankwo a box predator, he is a modern striker. But I still don't understand. Hasn't he been approached? He doesn't look Nigerian though. |

Kog45:omeruo still has the problem of gifting opponent goals.... he always make mistakes when he gets to play for 90 mins.... I fear for him alot. |

charlesemeka85: How old is Eze? How old is Arokoyo? Who is Eze to have been considered for the Super Eagles? See who is accusing someone of tribalism and yet set double standards. Oga, even though I don't expect Arokoyo on the list but I don't agree Eze is ahead of him as at this moment. However, Ambrose should have been given the chance ahead of Eze. GBAM |

After all your rant the only thing I can take away is that you are mad at Rohr for a few inclusions and omissions. That looks like above pass mark to me. Even I am not pleased with the list in it's entirety. It is indeed impossible for Rohr to please anyone completely. forgiveness: |

I believe Ambrose can (or can at least present a decent cover just in case one of the regulars are injured just as forgiveness argued ), but it seems Rohr is not disposed to older players. Kog45: |

Humility017: Oga, we are going to the FIFA WC, this is not a time to keep slots for the younger ones. The younger ones should wait for the next series of AFCON qualifiers to see if they can have a chance to break in, which should also be by merit. We have passed that experimental stage. It is time for business now. |
