oknee: Please my colleague, this is the mail I received from AIMS what can you make out it? Dear Casmir, Your assessment has returned from the Committee and you have been assessed as eligible to sit the AIMS Professional Examination. The administration side of your assessment is being processed and will take a few weeks to be completed and be posted. As the deadline (1 June 2018) to enrol for the September 2018 AIMS Professional Examination is fast approaching, we can, on this occasion, accept an emailed application form for your provisional enrolment into the September 2018 exam, however, you must also post the original application form to us by 30 June 2018. We have attached the examination application form and information pack to this email. If we can be of any further assistance, please contact us. Your AIMS assessment number is: 720/18-2.1 Examination Application Fees can be found on our website: https://www.aims.org.au/services/assessment-options/Fees-for-Qualification-Assessment Kind Regards Bronwyn Curry Administration Officer www.aims.org.au Please must I write the professional exam before I can express my interest? |

ejimjesus: I believe you have not gotten the assessment outcome letter. Your assessment will be positive for MLT since they are already asking you to register for the professional exam. As for your question, you must not write the PROFESSIONAL exam before you open EOI. But you need your assessment letter to proceed with the EOI. The email is to help people who wants to write the September exam meet up with registration deadline. Relax and wait for your parcel. 1 Like |

@Michaelamo. Thanks for this update. I guess I have to focus on PTE for additional 10 pts. For POF, I meant Victoria. Can anyone please help clarify if shares, Pension and properties are acceptable as POF, and a sure way to submit EOI without other states knowing? Michaelamo: |
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by piusford: 5:24pm On May 14, 2018 |
ejimjesus: That shouldn't bother you. If you want to apply as MLS you just have to wait and write the exam, wait for your result. You can go ahead and apply for the AIMS exam to be able to seat for the next one in Dubia or South Africa. or you can go ahead and open EOI with your MLT assessment and update when you pass the exam. 189 awaits you after you have assessed as MLS and have up to 70 point, as it stands now ni. Or go ahead with MLT if there is a state nominating by July. |

TRAY2: But let me break down your points for you Age 31 =30 Education Bsc =15 Experience 6yrs =10points English = 20 points Total = 75 points. If your wife assess as accountant, you will get extra 5 points making it 80 points, but no need for that 75 is good enough already. For a Medical Profession that is only about 2% filled for the year, I guess you will land a grant immediately you apply, you just have to calmly start the process, Congrats your grant is almost certain. For our assessing body, you need to write Eng test before you can submit for assesement so I guess you have to start there, I have a lot more info, we need to connect in pm, congrats bro!!! 3 Likes |

Hello good people please i need your help on VETASSESS. My husband has 12 years experience in Digital banking. Bachelor degree in Electrical engineering (2006). Msc project management (2015). My question is, if it is okay to send only his masters (msc project management) transcript for assessment Or will bsc (electrical engineering) be better? Will really appreciate your responds. Thank you. |

blackbriar: Forget the MEnG. Assess with BEng. Age ----------------- 30 Qualifications - 15 English (max) - 20 English (Min.) - 10 Experience -------5 (if defendable/proof ready) With maximum English and experience you can get up to 70 points which I'd about the benchmark for 189 this days. So ITA will fall on you with ease. But if short of points by not getting maximum from English or can't proof experience then you can opt for 190 (NSW very desirable) if you can make up to 60 points or 55 yourself |

Just a quick question guys. My occupation is non prorata and I got my assessment back today so I can go ahead with my EOI. However I want to know if it's worth selecting 489 alongside 190 as I only have 55 points If I get a nomination for 489, can I reject it if I'm still hoping for 190 invitation? Just a bit worried 489 might limit my chances to get a good job since I will be limited to a town right? Hopefully when I clear my English test to a superior level, I can up my point and be eligible for 189. |
