Chylo: Say what you know! Was Saraki Sr ever a governor? George Bush Sr and Jr their pedigrees are known. The Okorocha in law in question, go and see his CV, you will not even employ him as a supervisor in your company talk less of governing a state. Okorocha the Roach is desperate to make him governor cause he is the only person he can trust to cover his loots and avoid prosecution. There are millions of better qualified people in Imo state why pick on somebody with zero experience. Nigeria is seriously suffering under this regime cause some idiots said even if it is Nepa bill Buhari has as certificate they will vote him. Now see the result. Imo people will never let Okorocha have his way come what may. 2 Likes |

I said it that Okoroawusa has used you for ritual. So the mess happening in Imo state was caused by igbos outside imo state? In what way has Okorocha risen politically? Even in your little Imo state Okorocha is unpopular and hated. Was it igbos outside imo state that caused it? Was it igbos outside imo state that made Okorocha to fail as a gov? I spit on you old man. Abagworo: 4 Likes |

Abagworo:Mr Abagworo be honest for once, going through Uche nwosu 's CV, is he qualified in any way to be a governor.? All his life he worked in Rochas foundation as assistant this or that. Never held any serious position of trust anywhere. Yet you want to make him governor so your arse will be covered. It won't work! 6 Likes 1 Share |

Chylo: With all due respect, the points you've raised here are baseless, and completely irrelevant in relation to the situation in context. Saraki's father was never Governor of Kwara State. He was a Senator in the second republic; who as a matter of fact had just recently switched from APP to PDP, and decided to support his son's governorship ambition as any father would. Tinibu supported his wife to become a senator to represent a particular political zone in Lagos and not to replace him as Governor of Lagos state. George Bush Jnr. never replaced his father as president. He gradually built his political career by first becoming a governor (not even during his father's presidency), then contested for president and won on his own merits. And Jeb Bush; the other Son you mentioned? He became governor of Florida; a state different from his father's state of Texas... And you know an interesting fact? He wasn't elected as governor during his father's precidency, so his father had no powers to "Help". 4 Likes |

WilliamKhan: So what are you saying? A father can't support his son to take over from him or what? You need to go and learn about democracy. It's the people's choice to vote for him or someone else, but my choice to support who I want. |

Chylo: When someone says Bukola Saraki's father handed over to him as governor, and goes ahead to further claim that Bola Tinibu handed over governorship of Lagos to his wife, it becomes evidently clear how much of Democracy they've actually learned. So no Sir, if learning about democracy would make me make the kind of ignorant assertions that you make, then I'd rather remain democratically naive. And if it will put a smile on your face, Yes the people can vote for who they want; which is exactly what happened in the Imo State APC ward congress. 2 Likes |

wingmanII: People are comparing apples and oranges. Uche Nwosu's right to seek elective office at any level is not in question. What is in question is Uche Nwosu the chief of staff who is also the Governor's son-in-law being imposed on the State without due process and using the office of the sitting Governor to facilitate this. This is impunity of the highest order. George W Bush became President 8 years after George H W Bush was defeated from office by Bill Clinton. George W Bush went through the process like any other American and got elected on his own merit. He may have benefited from his surname and ability to raise tonnes of cash for adverts but that's where his advantage ends. George H W Bush was out of office by then and a private citizen and could not have influenced his chances. The same goes to Hillary Clinton. She did not run for Senate as First Lady. She left office with her Husband and ran later for Senate under a Republican Government and won. She lost the primaries to Obama in 2007 but later got nominated by the DNC in 2015 but lost to Trump in the general election. Again she may have benefited from her name and ability to raise cash but Bill Clinton was not in office as a sitting President pulling the strings for Hillary to succeed her. The same applies to Bukola Saraki. For all his imperfections Bukola got elected through a Nigerian fair process. Yes his father was a Kingmaker in Kwara politics but Olusola Saraki was not a sitting Governor using his office as Governor to get his son to succeed him. Olusola was a private citizen when Bukola became Governor. In fact after Bukola's tenure Olusola tried to get Bukola's sister I think her name is Gbemisola to become Governor and Bukola rather backed an outsider instead of his own sister against the will of his own father. Bukola may heve taken this position to avoid stoking anti-Saraki sentiments in Kwara. Today the Saraki family is still very relevant in Kwara politics even after Bukola has long left office. Uche Nwosu can run for Governor but if he is smart he should do so on a level playing field. Wait let Rochas leave office and then he can use his contacts, connections and money and run under APC later. In Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta is there, he has won 2 elections as President now many years after his father died in office while he was still a young man. He went through the process fairly, paid his dues and lost some elections before finally being elected Presient. What Rochas is trying to do in Imo State is unacceptable and undemocratic. Rochas is a Governor and not a King! I know our democracy is flawed but we must at least pretend as though we are practicing democracy! 2 Likes |
