NYSC 2017/18 Batch A [Stream II] Winding Up/ POP Date Announced

This is to inform all National Youth Service Corps Members of 2017/2018 Batch A Stream II that the Passing Out Parade [POP] date has been announced.

I wish to inform you that management has approved that the 2017 Batch “A” stream II winding-up/passing out should be low key. Please note that Corps members of 2017 Batch ‘A” Stream II will pass out on Thursday 31st May, 2018. Accordingly, below is the programme of activities.



i. Thursday 10th- Thursday 17th May 2018

(a). Job creation and awareness week, sensitization of Corps members on Job creation opportunity after service. This will be done at the local government level using relevant officers.

ii. Friday 18th May, 2018- Tuesday 22nd May 2018

(a). Release of Passing out Corps Members by employers
(b). Registration/Clearance of corps Members, information on condition for issuance of certificate of national sFCT-Abuja)ii. Wednesday 23rd- Thursday 24th May 2018

(a). Signing of final clearance by Zonal inspectors
(b). Debriefing/Evaluation of service year
(c). Administration of Questionnaire (From 4B) on passing out Corps members
(d). State farewell party to be presided over by the Governor of the state.

iv. Friday 25th May 2018

(a). Distribution of certificate of national service to deserving Corps at Local government level.

yea,u have to update the name on bvn with the bank account name..till u do dat ur allawe we be paid but u won't be abt to withdraw it

Hello roby, do not be perturbed. Nysc dnt av a say with acc opening, they just link u up with 1 of d numerous banks they partner, you fill their details, they open an account for you, you get the acc no, nd nysc pays ur allawee there. So, nysc doesnt give them any data. You will get a form for acc opening with d bank, u are given, u feel ur details including ur dob urself.

@ LogoDWhiz , about the bvn DOB issue. The most important thing is to make sure that the date of birth you fill in when opening an account should match the one on your Bvn.. Since nysc won't share any details/data with the bank right?....

hello bro,did you leta have an issue wit ur alawee,cos i hav same issue,i use 2names for my bvn and 3names for NYSC,so wen filling bank account form in camp,do u advise i use the 2names as i use in my bvn to open bank account in camp,or 3names as use for NYSC,pls advice

It won't affect your Allawee, all you have to do is to use the name on your BVN(Kenneth Chukwuma) when registering for bank details in camp though there will be space in the sheet asking you if you have another bank account, just input your functional acct number with your BVN then they will link everything together.
I experienced same problem and it never affect my allawee throughout my service year.

When filling your account opening form, use the names already registered with BVN.

I'd advise later on, you rectify the third names on BVN. But for now, this arrangement will suffice..

How was camp and where's your PPA?

i used NYSC name, alawee gt stucked...had 2 hit d court 4 affidavit, lyk after a week dey rectified it
