Hello house,
Can anyone enlighten me on how to go about buying yam in bulk from benue state or any other state and selling in lagos/ibadan.
I am interested in this business and seeing it as a line of business any business minded person can diversify into.
Kindly share your experience so as to know the profitability and to know whether the business worths giving a trial.

Thanks in anticipation for your response.

Benue state experience late rain this year. If you want to buy cheap good yam, then visit around December to January

Does this mean that one cannot buy yams around this period from the North and sell at a good price elsewhere?

U can get 400 piece for around 80-150k if you are lucky u might even get it at a lesser price. The price depend on the size of the yam. I never go Benue since d beginning of this year o. That price up there is from old experience o it might not even reach it but I will ask my sister for you

Yam Business is a very good lucrative biz. But this is not d best time to buy. U buy yam around Nov / Dec. Instead of buying and selling y not buy when they are cheap, store and resell after 3-4months. 200%-400% ROI guarantee..... Benue and Niger are the best places u can get yam in large quantity and very cheap. During Nov Dec 100tubers depending on sizes sell @ N15,000 - 25,000. Now dis same yam. Goes for N60,000 to N120, 000 now. No be say I hear am oo na wetin I see... I buy my yam from lambata market in Niger state. I
