Germany Die Deutsche Nationalhymne. German anthem is a church tune England..God save the Queen South Africa Nigeria Spain. Tunes, lyrics... Most national anthems are adopted from patriotic wartime songs when they're going to battles. 3 Likes |

Well, I just happen to stumble on this thread. The Argentine national anthem is my favorite. It's one of the reasons I look forward to watching Argentina at international football competitions, Messi of course being the main attraction. Obviously it has more to do with the tune than the lyrics which I don't understand BTW. Nothing gets the adrenaline pumping before a football match like this tune at least for me. Unfortunately, Messi and co seem not to know how to channel it. |
