some people dont know the nitty gritty of these batteries. they just use them with the little knowledge they have.
I have been gathering knowledge about these batteries more than 3yrs, I like them.
there are protection module for them.
they dislike overcharge n overdischarge.
they have more advantage if managed properly.

Bro not "can be dangerous" but really really dangerous. These lithium battery packs explode and burnt my parlor chairs and burnt part of my legs. My bro, na over 100k I spend for hospital ooo....

its one of those lithium packed battery pack I bought for laptop charging ooo. it overcharged and boom....

I won't buy all these Nigerian lithium packed power bank for laptop again its like they don't put into consideration the overcharge protection and no fan there to blow off heat........

I personally would prefer the APC UPS cos it's pure sine wave, the Chinese inverter might seem to have a higher load capacity but the APC gives you more value as it protects Ur sensitive devices

Hello , not all APC are smart ups and pure sinewave .. The 650 specs old and new model with white plastic casing ain't pure sinewaves... The smart specs mostly comes with inbuilt cooling fans . Cheer's !

its a 50/50 thing, but its ur last hope and method of reviving ur battery, don't buy distilled water from any shop, I no trust Nigerians, they can do anything to make money, dem fit pur gutter water inside for set, get water from air condition or rain water

check online for the battery, most batteries are not gel, but u will see gel on the body of the battery,
if its really a gel battery, distilled water won't work but if it sealed lead acid or valve regulated ,distilled will work...
distilled water doesn't really work on all valve regulated lead acid batteries, u add water to some and will charging the battery overheats and swell and one ur battery starts swelling ,sell it off to Aboki for recycling, no go dey try ur luck

good day I've been following this thread for a while please what setup can i use to power my laptop, home theatre and small rechargeable fan my budget is 60000 since I'm a freelancer would need it to be able to charge my laptop device for about 6 hours

I don't even have time for generator , as long as my battery is charged and it can power my lcd and gotv for 7-8hr , I am ok, when cash enter my hand I go buy one more of this battery join in parallel to make 12v 40ah + 12v 40ah =80ah (longer watch time)

In my findings..

to know the specified size of Charge control to be used is determined by the amp. of the the solar panel.

the formular is..

Solar panel Watts ÷Solar Panel Volts= required size of Charge controller
e.g Mono.panel 150w, 12v
150/12= 12.5amp.

So I rather am getting a 20amp charge controller. Its better to buy a big size of charge controller incase you need to increase size of solar panel in future, besides bigger size of charge controller do not have bad effect on the system.

You need a smart charger because a deep cycle battery needs three phases of charging to efficiently charge it, that is bulk, absorb & float. The internal charger inside a small ups produces a charge current that is just enough to charge its inbuilt battery, so by converting ups to an inverter, you will need a smart charger of sufficient charging current & voltage to charge your big battery

The UPS inbuilt charger does not fast charge, could take months/years to fully charges.

And take note of this, UPS charger is designed to charge small battery(6a) inside the UPS, but you want to charge bigger batteries quick and easy..

That's the reason why you need a smart automatic charger..

Then use your UPS system as an inverter e.i ac output from your battery
