Since when does a superstar or the best player on a team taking more shots become alien absurd or unusual? I swear just stalk this thread after the Cavs lose and that's when all the dumb people with dumber "analysis" come out. |

Donndino: You reversed the facts. Lol!!! |
Re: The NBA Begins by Donndino: 12:52pm On May 16, 2018 |
Decale:The facts are for Playoff games. Against the Cavs, the Pacers were over-reliant on Oladipo to score. Celtics on the other hand have Horford, Brown, Tatum, Rozier, Morris, Smart etc scoring in double digits almost every game. |
Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 12:54pm On May 16, 2018 |
Roland17: You seriously believed the cavs would sweep the celtics? I will take your word for it. Even with lebron dropping 40 10 10 a night the celtics are still the favorites. Why? Its a team game, and the celtics are a far better team. Did you see j r smith or TTs stats yesterday? Of course as an LBJ fan, Im going to watch and hope. But this series is looking like a ghastly motor accident on 3rd mainland bridge already |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 1:56pm On May 16, 2018 |
NictisZorander: So where is that game against Pacers that his team did absolutely nothing in the win? You have 4 tries. I am waiting. A time is coming (and not too far away) when people will be identified by the number of stupid things they will say. You will have the Nobel Prize in stupidity that you crave so badly. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 2:06pm On May 16, 2018 |
NictisZorander: You mean context? You mean subset? Narrative not pre-dominating a context simply means the news about how Bron alone willed the Cavs to a win should not pervade the airspace more than the help he got ...since ...so far...Cavs have won more games than they have lost (8-5) and no he could not win any game in which his mates did not show up. As for the screenshot, you saw "etc" there and decided to assume it was a closed set? So omniknowest, is F∆ck a wrong spelling or Phuulish a wrong spelling since you have barely seen it online? May God punish that shrink that thought it a good idea to lie to you about being a genius to forestall your suicidal thoughts. 2 Likes |

Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 4:19pm On May 16, 2018 |
Eruditor: Context IS a subset narrative and the narrative for LeBron was LeBron willed the Cavs to a win I'm the pacers series when his teammates didn't show up. No one has ever come out to say he won the raptors series alone and I was the first to point out how badly he played and how Kevin love stepped up especially in the first game when LeBron was subpar. I gave you multiple links about how LeBrons teammates were praised after you "dared" me to . But according to you even then pacers series was won "in spite of LeBron" was it not? Lol! Friggin AutoCorrect. My posts here are filled with spelling mistakes and grammatical blunders I've been trying to clean some of them up but I've already given up because there's way too many of them. I'm just surprised this is the first one you've noticed. But let's ignore the fact that spelling and grammar has nothing to do with IQ dum dum. I reckon Jay z speaks better English than Einstein, doesn't make jay z any less of an slowpoke. When I call you an im becile it's not because I think your grasp of the English language is mediocre (it is) it's because I think your school of reasoning mimics that of a mo.ron. If my obviously superior intellect intimidates you well blame your genes and your environment. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 4:29pm On May 16, 2018 |
Eruditor: I know you're trying to be meticulous, I know you're going to nitpick, but when your second option/allstar averages 11 points in a series and looked like hot garbage all through and this mor.on here tries to make a case that someone putting up the numbers LeBron did wasn't dragging his team I can't even describe this superior brand of foolishness. The fact that you're arguing with this just shows that hate has completely eaten through your inferior brain and I'm afraid there is no worse combination than that.

Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 4:48pm On May 16, 2018 |
NictisZorander: You have a lot to learn but I am not in my didactic mood. In Context (see how it precedes the narrative) I discussed Lebron in game 7 or so when the lead increased while he was out. But you have stupidly attributed it to the whole series because...well...you are stupid. Keep yapping on. I am not reading you. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 4:52pm On May 16, 2018 |
NictisZorander: Lebron is the best player on his roster but he is not good enough to will any team on his own to a win. Stupidity is not a gift it is a curse. Yesterday Kevin had 22 and 15 but Cavs did not win inspite of (see how it is used again) Bron’s team leading 42/12/10. He is definitely leading his team and deserves most plaudits but he wins only when they help so the “he has no help” narrative is weak like one quarter of 28 days. Just like the feel-out narrative was a cop out. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 4:58pm On May 16, 2018 |
etidy: I like how you've given up on trying to make any sense yourself. Thank you for bringing the thoughts of a lesser mo ron so we can dissect what he's trying to say. First of all, people don't say his teammates are terrible based on their track record. They say that as a domino effect of them playing horribly in the game. Even when the Cavs were winning in the regular season TT was a pariah who looked out of sorts and people let him know. George hill is an enigma who gives you a good game and follows up with 3 bad games, you saw the open looks he bricked yesterday. JR went 0/7 last game and if you can't call that trash I don't know what is. No one is denying the youth and hunger of the celtics team nor the effectiveness of Brad's System which basically makes grape juice out of lemons. That has always been to his credit and the only reason some gave the celtics a chance to win this series. As to the Cavs being an ISO ball team. That maybe true but they're less of an ISO ball team now than they were the year the Cavs won the championship or the year after that. They're actually playing more of team basketball now. Sets are being run for players but unfortunately they're bricking. As to good and clarkson, they've been bricking shots I've seen them hit in other uniforms, and even during the regular season. Some players just aren't meant for the spotlight of the post season and I think that's what these guys are showing. Now to the biggest myth of all. The Cavs have made Kevin love a spot up shooter. Anytime I see this line I cringe because of how stupid it is. The Cavs have always tried to feed Kevin love in the post, in the pacers series he was awful because he was well guarded and lost the ball. Look Lue said they didn't even try to double team LeBron and either Thad or turner were always stuck on love. In the raptors series however, love came back and dominated in the post because there as less resistance. But how do you expect love to repeat the same success in the post in a series where even LeBron has to work extra hard to post up? If you are watched the NBA youd see that in game 1 the first thing LeBron tried to do was to get love going down the post but it was futile. He still had a good game but they didn't allow him to kill them in the post. As to yelling and complaining, granted their body language leaves a lot to be desired the only person I've seen tell at others is LeBron and that is his job as the leader of the team to keep his guys in check. He plays no D and that is contagious? LMAO! Is that a joke? Yes LeBron plays less intensive defense and just roams about the perimeter now but that should mean the others won't? If that's the Cavs I guess the rockets would be the worst defensive team in the NBA. The Cavs defensive schemes just leaves a lot to be desired especially in the interior, they are just not a very good defensive team period. Don't give me that MJ rubbish. LeBron was probably the best two way player in the league from 2008 to 2013. At this stage in his career he just can't keep up that intensity, he facilitates scores rebounds and does other things, he doesn't have a pippen to facilitate or a Rodman to rebound. I like how everyone is overreacting now to the Cavs losing but I will love when these guys revert to the east is a cakewalk after the Cavs win the series. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 5:02pm On May 16, 2018 |
If Russell has a triple double in a loss, They say he did not use his teams mates well. Harden gets the same treatment. But if it is LeBitch, he had no help. STFU. 2 Likes |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:06pm On May 16, 2018 |
Eruditor: Lol. I'm glad you checked the dictionary and figured out how to use the word correctly. Because the last time you used it you said the Cavs won in spite of LeBrons 40 point near triple double in game 7 of the pacers series. The narrative that he had no help is 100 percent accurate giving when he loses its usually not his fault because he gave it his all. And if it's not him then who is it? Of course it's the supporting cast. He had a forty point triple double and lost in spite of it, how do you blame him for that? When people talk about Michael people say hes won 6 finals and is perfect in all six. I don't see anyone giving credit to pippen or Rodman or Cartwright or anyone even though his supporting cast was way more proficient than LeBron. The man shot 3/18 and won by 20 in the 1993 ECF darn it, what do you expect would happen to the Cavs if LeBron shot like that? The feel out game narrative was validated, just like he did after all the previous game 1s he played much better knowing how the other team operates. Granted it didn't result in a win but there were improvements, especially for him. 2 Likes |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:10pm On May 16, 2018 |
Eruditor: Russell shoots 40 percent or less from the field, russells assists are mostly abortive rim attacks. He doesn't get his teammates involved or get them wide open looks like LeBron does. Again how is them bricking open looks his fault? PS a lot of the thunders blame should have been directed at PG and Melo. They were putrid. Lebitch lewhine leboob lepoop lecry? Seriously who comes up with these cringy names |

Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 5:14pm On May 16, 2018 |
NictisZorander: Your guy was pounding ...pounding and pounding the ball for seconds before passing yesterday. He was a more efficient Russell Westbrook yesterday. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:21pm On May 16, 2018 |
Eruditor: Have you heard of the parable of the blind man and the elephant? The mistake you're making here is assuming the narrative started this series. LeBrons narrative has already been etched in his legacy ever since he dragged that Cavs team to the 2007 finals. The narrative here is "LeBron drags inferior talent", any "context" you try to bring now is a subset of that narrative and there have been a lot of narratives. No way they can precede the prevailing narrative. LeBron dragged the Cavs past the pacers. If you can't see that you're either a hater or mo ron or both. I like how you can address (or at least try to) the points I make without even "reading me". Very impressive. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:24pm On May 16, 2018 |
Eruditor: What does this even mean? LeBron has always been LeBron for better or worse, sometimes he wins and sometimes he doesn't. But the hate he gets from ninnies like you after playing his heart out and losing is revolting. 1 Like |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 5:42pm On May 16, 2018 |
NictisZorander: I almost mistook you for someone who knew basketball. Your man was pounding (dribbling) the ball for most of the 24 secs then was dishing it out when he had nothing to do, leaving whoever received the pass with no rhythm to make shots. Basketball 101. You are welcome. 1 Like |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 5:46pm On May 16, 2018 |
Eruditor: No dum dum! When a playmaker gets the ball isn't that what he's supposed to do? Look at the Cavs line up and tell me one player who can create his own shots without LeBron? This is actually why I wanted good and Clarkson to get more minutes but I'm more skeptical now because they've become bricklayers. What you mean is "quasi analysis 101" and uhhh...no thanks. 1 Like |
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 5:55pm On May 16, 2018 |
NictisZorander: Very rarely did you see any Celts player pound and pound the ball for most of the 24. You are excusing the ISO heavy basketball now but will use the same brush to censure Harden and Brodie. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:01pm On May 16, 2018 |
Eruditor: I asked you to name one non LeBron who can create his own shot in the Cavs line up. Now name one player who can't create his own shot in the celtics line up? You play in accordance with the personnel you have. I watched Houston's game yesterday and it was disgusting the way harden played, mostly head down trying to take people of the dribble. LeBron keeps his head up looking from the right play to make. There's a difference. Harden and Brodie's games result in bad shots, again LeBron has created good shots that guys missed, how do you blame that on him? You blame their deficiencies on LeBron, tell me how they play with LeBron off the court? ISO ball won the Cavs their championship, they just don't have the personnel to execute that as efficiently now with Kyrie gone. It's not just about the ISO. 1 Like |
