Please can't we still consider Tammy Abraham, Dominic Solanke and Ademola Lukman in our world cup squad? Is it too late?

lol d koko be say Nigerians have a huge expectation as regards governance at every level especially the federal level, far more than we even need to win the world cup.. even power sector sef other African countries dey laugh us.. It is their hope that they continue to have a say in football matters. Wherever money is their throat dey long. Now ask yourself does the money belong to government? We no ask them to speak for us as regards our WC expectations.

forgiveness:

NFF is autonomous hence government should shut up because they don't need the government. Was that not your argument?

As it stands NFF must respect the government because they fianance them and are part of the government parastatals.

So, can NFF shut up the government they are still receiving half of their budget from?

If they suceeded fine. No problem.

Even their success to achieve success to achieve 100% still depends on the government. Hahahaha! Na dere you go fear. grin

You should focus on that and stop deviating from koko of discussion.

Lokosa “Overjoyed” By Super Eagles Call-Up, In Bulgaria For ‘Medicals’
May 16, 2018 4:27 pm

Nigeria Professional Football League hotshot Junior Lokosa is overwhelmed by his invitation to the Super Eagles for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, chairman of Kani Pillars FC, Alhaji Muhammad Tukur Babangida, has revealed.

Babangida told Completesportsnigeria.com that Lokosa who arrived in Sofia, the Bulgarian capital city on Tuesday, was overjoyed when the news of his call-up to national team reached him through his agent

“Lokosa is overjoyed at his invitation and he has expressed gratitude to the coach for including him in the 30-man provisional list for the World Cup. He also promised to try his best to convince the coach that he is good for the World Cup,” Babangida stated
.
The Kano Pillars boss further disclosed that Lokosa, who has scored 18 goals in the NPFL this season, will undergo medicals with his unnamed new outfit and return to the country by May 20, adding that the striker is not on trial as being reported in the media.

“He (Lokosa) is not on trial but has only gone to do his medicals and if he succeeds, the club will come down to Kano to sign the necessary papers for his transfer. We’ll miss him if he finally goes; he has been fantastic for Pillars this season,” Babangida told CSN.

On the choice of Bulgaria for Lokosa, the former Kano director of sports said: “We had several offers for him from USM Algiers, Al Hilal of Sudan, a Libyan club, a Tunisian side a team from Serbia but the Bulgarian offer was better and he chose that.”

CAFCC: Enyimba Humiliated In Brazzaville By Congo’s CARA
May 16, 2018 4:19 pm

Two-time African champions Enyimba fell to a 3-O defeat against Congolese club Atletique Renaissance Aiglons (CARA) in their group stage matchday 2 encounter at Stade Alphonse Massamba, Debat on Wednesday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Racine Louamba opened scoring for the Congolese in the 14th minute, turning the ball home after goalkeeper Fatau Dauda parried a shot into his path.

The home side piled on the pressure and scored two quick goals in the 17th and 19th minutes through Cabwey Kivutuka and Dicha Lema.

Enyimba fought hard to reduce the deficit afterwards but were unable to breach the hosts’ defence.

The Peoples Elephant could also have conceded more goals but for Dauda who made a couple of important saves in the second half.

Paul Aigbogu’s men who defeated Djoliba of Mali on matchday 1 have now lost the leadership position in the group following the defeat.

The Aba club will face Ivory Coast’s Williamsville on matchday 3.

Djoliba will host Williamsville in the other Group C game later on Wednesday.

You have a point. But still, I feel we should keep our fingers crossed. They can pull of some surprises you know, but it won't be easy.

Every team is going to this cup with a can-do attitude
that is why I said “eventually if they are not fortunate to win the trophy" am not writing our team off, but the FG should know that we are not favorites to win the tournament but underdogs.

This one na double edged happiness.

Traveling to Bulgaria for Medicals and receiving a Super Eagles call up same week.

Just like you receiving an offer letter from Chevron or Mobil and your wife giving birth to your first child same week.

This kind happiness fit lead to madness. Hahaha.

First off, I would like to give a shout out to elyte89, chrisooblog and Sir AIG, you guys gave me some good laughs this evening at the expense of Tammy grin. Mans must be biting his lip now, but na so life be. Sometimes, pride allows you miss out on life-changing opportunities and inevitably settle for less. Even Solanke no make list, after all the paparazzi wey Chelsea been do that time about two 'besties' that eventually made it to the English team together grin. At least they will serve as each other's company and analyse England's World Cup games together at home. Shey na besties dem be.

Secondly, I am STOKED, World Cup camp is opening. Iwobi's snaps will be LIT, I go waste MB tire over the next month dey watch mumu videos. And camp opens the next day after my last paper, so, I am FREE grin grin

Third, so, Iwobi went to get another girlfriend, is she 'laiskin wirra killa borri'? undecided Anyway, his business, I hope he now has small sense to know how to organise his life. No be everytime turn up and follow follow yansh.

Good evening folks cheesy
