No school collects your original certificate, if that's what you mean. You only certify the photocopy and send them

The Federal Republic of Germany has proposed a new process that will ensure a smooth repatriation of about 30,000 illegal Nigerian migrants.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, disclosed the proposed move yesterday in Abuja when he received in audience, the Security Adviser to the President of Germany, Dr Jan Hecker.

According to Onyeama, “they don’t have enough faith and confidence in the process that we have at the moment for the repatriation process. Some of the delays, they believe, is with the mission and consulate in Germany.

“They want to propose a completely new process of repatriation known as Return and Re-admission.”

Onyeama added that in the past two years, just about 200 Nigerians have returned to the country out of about 30,000.

He said Germans were not happy that the system we have in place is certainly not working to their satisfaction.

On my admission letter, its stated that the letter is valid for 18months, buh the enrollment date on it is 1st march to 12th april. Can I still try processing the visa with this admission letter? So I received a rejection today from the University of Bonn for a course they jointly run with United Nations University. It's an Environmental Science course with lots of internships with United Nations and the possibility of them employing you on a full time basis after your studies. ( I like courses that have compulsory internships).

Even though I have not made my final Decision on which school to enrol at from the admission I already have and the ones I am still expecting, this particular rejection was very painful. It was the first application I ever made to Germany and I applied for the course since November last year, so it took them more than six months, a second stage Skype interview (which I believe I did well in) to finally decide not to give me the admission.

The decision was really hard to take. The sad part was that I actually met their requirement just that too many people applied for the same course and they only needed just 25 students so they had to just randomly select and reject the others. I was even asked to apply again when the application opens again which means that there was nothing wrong with me application.

From my experience, I think most courses under environmental sciences and natural sciences in general usually have limited spaces of about 15 to 25 students per semester. So, there is usually a tough challenge to get the admission especially when the school is not under Uniassist which means more people will usually apply because its free.

Anyways, I won't let it weigh me down for long. My interview is later this month, and I need to focus on that for now.

The chance of getting an interview date with it is very very slim or none at all. Even if you were able to secure a date with it, you can not use it for the interview; if you do, it is really OYO. Just wait for the admission letter and apply as soon as you have it. Cottbus alien office is very fast with visa decision as far as last winter is concerned. Shalom

Do we have any FAU (Molecular Medicine) applicant or student in the house? I'm about to send my documents this Friday. But I'm a bit confused.

Part of the requirement was previous academic work. I have a single publication which also double as my final year thesis. (My name appeared as the second author though)

Should I send that publication alongside the document (5pages), what do u suggest?

I know two people that have been successful with it. One was last year, buh u can try your hand... if it works then pray u get your letter b4 that day.

I know if one is sending application documents by post, one has to send cerified copies of certificates and certified students' copy of transcript; but my question is this HOW DOES ONE SEND THE OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT THAT WILL BE ISSUED BY ONE'S UNIVERSITY ? cos I know the school in Germany will also require for OFFICIAL transcript.
