Hallo Fam, Please I need the accounting generals and auditing professionals to help me clarify something. 1. Is it possible to get a positive assessment from any of the assessing authorities ( I know u guys have a handful) as an accountant/auditor without a first degree in closely related field like accounting/ecenomics/banking and finance? But with ICAN/ACCA certifications and about 3 years experience. 2. If yes, which of the assessing bodies is an applicants best shot? Those whit experience please comman shooook mouth |

There are so many documents to send oh. Please, take your time to gather and package them properly. Read up for ALL requirements to avoid loosing your hard earned money. Skilled migration is a very easy journey but you have to make lots of research and some writings too. I really don't know about vetassess and how they do. House, please what occupation will be suitable for her husband? Cheers peaceful22: 1 Like |

Visit www.engineers Australia.org.au immediately. Australia need civil engineers. Your age gives you 30 points. Degree gives you 15. Ielts 10 I'm not sure of your work experience points. With 55 points, you can get state nomination. Cheers blackbriar: 1 Like |

Aub430: What's your occupation? Better to submit separate EOIs for 190 and 489 respectively. The EOI will automatically lock if one invitation comes up even if you selected multiple subclasses on the same EOI 2 Likes |

peaceful22:Madam, project management isn't on the skilled select list, his only sure bet is electrical engineering and will have to assess with EA. He may not be able to claim points for work experience unless his job roles as a digital banker correlate with core electrical engineering job roles as stated by ANZSCO. 1 Like |

Am a civil engineer with 5 years experience in civil engineering consultancy in Nigeria. I have bachelor degree in civil engineering. Am 30yrs, ielts 8. Married with one daughter. I want to ask is it possible to have positive response from engineer Australia without submitting bank statements. Considering the fact that I work at a company where they paid us in cash. I complained to my boss and he said he can write to explain the issue to engineer Australia to submit my application... I need your advice |

@bellong @spyroxy1 and other gurus(everybody) in the house. I greet una ooo. Pls help my friend. Every input will be highly appreciated. His case goes thus: His wife's applied onshore for Australian Student visa around late Nov 2017 but the visa was refused. Since she was onshore, she was able to lodge an appeal which can take up to a year for review. Her husband just got ITA for 489 visa early May 2018 after applying offshore. He's kind of confused on how to go about his application due to the following reasons: 1) Can he and his wife apply together even as the wife is onshore while the husband is offshore? 2) Will the lodged appeal against the wife's student visa affect the 489 visa application if they can apply together? 3) Even though they are legally married and the marriage less than ă year old (Oct 2017), will they need to provide additional documents (apart from marriage certificate) to prove their marital status to the CO if they are able to lodge the 489 visa application together? 2 Likes |

@Beckini89, don't quote long passages , it only makes reading the thread difficult. As regards your question, go to aims website and follow instructions. It's easy. You need your academic transcript, degree result, not less than two years work experience in the position with proofs, such as payslips, reference letter from current employment and previous employers, and an assessment fee receipt. |

Yes ICAA is same as CAAnz. As per your earlier question, I would prefer the person assesses ACCA as I am not very sure about ICAN. @praiseisgood, was your ICAN assessed mine wasn't mentioned in my assessment outcome with ICAA? jayooh: |

toslad, praiseisgood and other accountants in the house which way to go ? Although, I have submitted different EOI 's (General Accountants) for 189 and 190 NSW, is there any thing I can do to ensure I get invited any which way. Or should I also assess as a finance manager? My concern is my age as my points will drop by November. |
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by bellong: 9:20am On May 17, 2018 |
@idNG, 1. Yes, he can add his wife to the application. The wife will need to update Home affairs so they can issue a different bridging visa. 2. No, it will not. All she should do is withdraw the appeal. 489 visa is superior to student visa. 3. Although there is no hard and fast rule about the documents to provide in proofing a union. However, wisdom requires that he provides as much evidence as possible to proof their relationship considering that the wife has been denied a study visa. Don't give the CO any opportunity to come up with a conspiracy theory. 4 Likes |

Thanks Oga Bellong I will notify them accordingly. I wasn't satusfied with recommendation by their MARA Lawyer who advised his wife to travel offshore as both applicants have to be in thesame location before the 489 visa can be lodged. And after lodgement she can return back to Australia. Her visa wasn't denied. It was REFUSED on failure to provide proof of funancial sponsorship (another error from an agent who advised her it's not necessary since it's not her first student visa application in Australia). The CO stated clearly that "the primary applicant presented a VALID application for study visa." (they included marraige certificate). It was just financials that wasnt included. bellong: |
