This is meant for network administrators and you get this message because you are a broker, I don't think you should divulge all information from NSE, this is a routine test. The success of the exercise could be a better information, I may be wrong though but just my thought OBAGADAFFI: |

Dwizeone: I thought this is general market issue. What does the bolded mean? Should Fidelity be selling that low? Seems I am not understanding. |

Dwizeone: I don't think he's entirely wrong. During a scheduled "change", all relevant parties and users should be informed so that there won't be panic should there be failure or loss of "service" within that period. This is akin to security forces informing the public that there will be a counter-terrorist drill. My take though. 2 Likes |

This is usually done on saturdays for selected players as contained in the information, I just think it is better to pass the success/failure of the test to a public forum and not when the test will be carried out. It's not a biggy though but then some information are sent based on trust and expected to be treated with utmost confidentiality, in any case, the success or failure of the test will not affect trading. mendes911: 1 Like |

Who understands how the corporate bond market works in Nigeria? Is it open to only institutional investors? Is there a secondary market for these bonds? If so how liquid is the market? Any upcoming bond issuance or prospectus of a recently issued corporate bond? I will appreciate some information folks. Thanks. |

The market is generally bearish and undecided so, let's leave it at the discretion of the Market, if the bearish trend continues, then there is no respite. There is no positive sentiment atm Mcy56: 2 Likes |

Dwizeone: The NSE is simply telling investors/traders that they are improving the trading system. At times it is better we read well before jumping into conclusion. this will include X-NET subscribers, FIX/OMS subscribers, Trading Floor Brokers, NSE Branches, Market Data Vendors (MDVs) and Issuers. This test will achieve a scenario where trading processing is lost in the middle of production and all connections are re-routed from the NSE Headquarters (HQ) to the Disaster Recovery (DR) site. Most regular traders on NSEMPA have experienced technical issue with Morgan,Meristram, Leadcapial and other brokers. |
