komekn:I don't belong in Nigeria, I have never felt like I belong in Nigeria, I can't even find clothes in Nigeria, that is how unwelcome I am. I have to amend everything, dem no dey reason say people like me dey this country. Dem no like me, so maybe I will try the cold, inhospitable Europe where everybody minds their business and a size 4 is accessible 1 Like |

Icon4s: We were clinical. One would think that with a 3 nil scoreline we outclassed them, but that's not true. They pressed us, and having someone like Rufai really gave confidence to the defenders. I love that we took our chances. Great throwback. 2 Likes |

joseph1013: Yeah we were very clinical and scored when it mattered. Rufai kept us in the game. That was a great Bulgarian team that went all the way to the semis. I will never forget that game in a hurry. |

Famocious: Sadiq Umar is a Roma player. He's even in for the Athletico Madrid friendly or it's also likely he is among the 35 man list which NFF decided to show us 30 and decided to call the other 5 foreign players to join the team secretly after the friendly match against Athletico Madrid with the excuse that they are just training with the main team. That's all. No wonder 7 foreign players were called to hide their secret dealings, so as not to make it obvious that 5 were actually on the list. This plan might have been explained to their various clubs in order to secure their release because the clubs, in no normal circumstances are oblige to release their players for an inconsequential friendly that will add no value to the players hence the Roma famzing us. If true, NFF and Rohr wouldn't have been able to explain the inclusion of five targeted players if they announced all the 35 man list at once because it's obvious they are not the best we have this season hence the defactor. I know the players are the Nwakali brothers, Alhassan Ibrahim, Musa Mohammed and Sadiq Umar. How could they have realised these players names ahead of the obvious better ones that did well this season? There's nothing hidden under the Sun that will not be made manifest to light. Wisdom of man is foolish. Well, I am watching. Peradventure it plays out then I know agent is at work. |

Icon4s: i love the team setup , if one player misses the chance the other player is there to execute it , if Yekini had missed the chance , Amuinike was there to carry out his duty , even when Yekini missed the crosses , Amunike went there with a flying header ... the same thing at the back line set up , they played for one another .... this is the similarity this present team has , but i hope they will be displine enough to play together as one unit and hit the opponent when its necessary ... 1 Like |

Crotone Striker Nwankwo To Arrive In Eagles Uyo Camp Tuesday Crotone striker, Simy Nwankwo will arrive the Super Eagles camp in Uyo next Tuesday ahead of Nigeria’s international friendly match against DR Congo in Port Harcourt on the 28th of May, Completesportsnigeria.com reports. But it is uncertain if he will take part in the game due to the FIFA rule which states that every player listed in the provisional World Cup squad must be granted ten days off after the hectic European season. Nwankwo who is keen to help Crotone win Saturday’s game against Napoli revealed that making the final 23 man squad for the World Cup in Russia will cap his impressive season in the Italian Serie A for him. “I should be in camp on Tuesday night,” Simy Nwankwo told CSN through an intermidiary in Italy on Friday. “I’m ready to stake a claim and I hope I make it to Russia because it will mark a new dawn in my career.” Nwankwo has scored seven goals in the Italian Serie A for Crotone who need a win in their final league game against Napoli to avoid relegation. Crotone will also hope S.P.A.L 2013 don’t get a result against Sampdoria on Sunday. Crotone currently occupy 18th position in the Italian Serie A table with 35 points from 37 games with an inferior goal difference of -3 to S.P.A.L 2013.
