Before the Serbia-Poland friendlies, Rohr made it clear he would be inviting 28 to prosecute the friendlies and later 30 players to make the preliminary World Cup squad. So tell us, when was the 5 names sneaked in to make it 35? forgiveness: 4 Likes |

forgiveness:what crucial part? Playing teams that we could win if na me sef dey coach? He also played a crucial part in ensuring we missed out on AFCON. Oliseh failed, he destroyed the team and till today, we are still suffering for it. We will not allow another mistake of that calibre, be it in Mutiu or whoever 2 Likes |

Cc forgiveness See bolded as well Rohr To Update World Cup List With Poland, Serbia Friendlies; Monitors Ezenwa, Simon Gold Usenekong 3 months ago By Adeboye Amosu: Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr says next month’s friendly fixtures against Poland and Serbia present a big opportunity for players to stake claims for spots in his final squad ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, Completesportsnigeria.com reports. The three-time time African champions will face Poland in Warsaw on March 23rd and take on Serbia four days later in London. Got something to say? The let your voice be heard! Back Pass *Sport related topics only* Three other build-up games against Congo, England and Czech Republic are also lined up for May 28, June 2nd and June 6th respectively. Rohr stated that he has pencilled down a list of 28 players for two friendlies and hopes the players push hard to make the final list for the mundial. “In the next couple of weeks we will release a list of 28 players for the friendly games against Poland and Serbia. We still have one or two players that we want to check on before coming out with the list,” the German coach told CSN at the Agege Stadium, Lagos on Wednesday. “Moses Simon has been injured a couple of weeks now and we expect that he will be back in action for his club (Gent of Belgium) this weekend. “There is also Ezenwa who is injured at the moment but is working hard to be fit. “The games against Poland and Serbia is a big chance for the new players to show they have what it takes to play for us. As you know the next game will be in May so now is time for everyone who want to go to Russia to prove their quality. “The two games are also important for us because the last time we played together was in November against Argentina. So, it will be an opportunity to work together again before the World Cup. “In May, we will release another 30-man list for the other friendly games from which we will draw the final list for the World Cup.” The Super Eagles will open their campaign at the 2018 FIFA World Cup on June 16 against Croatia at the Kaliningrad Stadium. They will also face Iceland on June 22 at the Volgograd Arena. Their final group game is against Argentina on June 26 at the Krestovsky Stadium, St Petersburg. —CSN 5 Likes |

Joebie:the list wey forgiveness they hold get 35 players now Some of the stars of the list include Ajagun, Lawal, Aluko, Kayode and other such awesome footballers. That is the list NFF should have released, but Rohr was bribed and he ended up releasing names of nonsense footballers like Iheanacho, Ebuehi, Ahmed Musa, Lokosa, Simy and other failures. Even foreign coaches can also be compromised 10 Likes |

forgiveness: Actually... You are Wrong. It has nothing to do with Sadiq Umar. I have already told the thread why Roma is doing it. It was all due to a certain @MarkOtabor on Twitter. And this is obviously to gain some Nigerian fans in this period of showing solidarity for the Super Eagles. So..... In conclusion eh Egbon... 1 Like

safarigirl: Don't worry FIFA will still pay Oliseh Sunday for the crucial part he played to qualify us for the world cup. How many AFCON matches did Oliseh lose? Mutiu was more qualified than Amuneke in regards to coaching experience and qualification yet Amuneke was chosen as the assistant to Garba and later Under 17 and under 20, heaven didn't fall and you all applauded it. Why pin point Mutiu? |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by safarigirl(f): 12:38pm On May 18, 2018 |
forgiveness:that is why someone said Mutiu should coach age grade Nobody suggested Amunike for Super Eagles job, did they? Whether they pay Oliseh or not, takes nothing away from the point that he wasn't a good coach. After all, civil servants in Nigeria are paid for doing nothing most of the time |

Amuneke demonstrated tactical acumen as an U17 coach. While Manu Garba’s U17 team of 2013 looked more talented, Amuneke’s team of 2015 were more tactically disciplined. Siasia’s strengths remain his attack mindedness. You cannot have that kind of coach as your assistant and still be lacking goals. A silver and bronze medal at the olympics shows merit and great experience on the job. We are not talking coaching badges here. . safarigirl: 1 Like |

safarigirl: Oliseh Sunday is not a good coach yet secured promotion for a dead club that gave him free hands. Yes! FIFA will pay him for work weldon because it doesn't change the fact that he qualified us for the next stage. Mutiu was not the only one on my list yet he has been fished out twice. Besides, we are talking about assistant coach of the Super Eagles. If that be the case I will prefer Garba, John Obuh, Mutiu Adepoju and John Salako ahead of Amuneke and Siasia. Someone suggested Amuneke or Siasia should replace Salisu and this was what brought up the discussion in the first place. |

Martz101: She was not wrong but dead wrong because nowhere in Igbo land does lesbian marriage exist...It is not in our culture. However, what you have are old women who has lost their husband and didnt have male child are encouraged by the umunna to marry a wife IN THE NAME OF THE DECEASED HUSBAND and find somebody to impregnate her. Most of the women married into this marriage are societal rejects like girls who got pregnant out of wedlock...In Igbo land or Anambra to be precise we look down on girls who got pregnate, had the baby in their fathers house and didnt get married. Chimamanda is out of her mind and I hope to run into her one day. Her feminism project is getting to her head, she is a writer not a historian. 1 Like |
