Joebie: to add i think his acute scepticism mirrors nigerian society as well. instead of interrogating and investigating each case on it's merits and allowing the evidence to draw one to a logical conclusion they will look at past misdeeds to influence them pass a judgment. can't say i honestly blame him or such nigerians because the leadership in the country system generally always let's everyone down |

We are talking now. We are suffering from successive failed leadership at almost all levels. It's a form of slavery oh, because it has affected our mindset so badly that we have become a reflection of our leaders. chrisooblog: |

AIG07: i Don't know why people shy away from the fact that his our best player. the eagles need to watch old african worldcup team clips, especially Cameroon team of 1990 worldcup, Nigerian team of 1994 worldcup, senegal team of 2002 worldcup, ghana team of 2010 worldcup and algeria team of 2014 worldcup. They all had one thing in common PASSION but the also failed when it really matters, they could have gone through the next stage if they actually concentrated even more. For our goal keeper department, remembering the Cameroon 1990 team gives me hope, in the eve of the tournerment cameroon dropped there first goal keeper Bell for talking bad about his team, he was the second best player in french league that season 5 hours to the match the goalkeeper crises was not settled, the supposed 3rd keeper Thomas n'kono was picked by the coach but he rejected the offer and even the 2nd keeper, the coach threaten to put an outfield player in that position. It took an intervention of then president Biya to make the N'kono take up the offer, the performance on that game inspired a 12 year old Italian midfielder to take up a glove and start his goalkeeping career and today his one of the best ever that boy is Buffon Similar to us right?? just like N'kono going on after the tournament to become one of Africa best ever keeper, Uzoho could start his journey in the big stage. *BELIEVE* 2 Likes |

Joebie: siasia is talented coach no doubt but he suffers from the same disease of most nigerian coaches arrogance and ego. it's good to be confident but sometimes you need that self awareness and humility to check yourselves and evaluate ones performances so any noted lapses can be corrected. |

Arrogance and ego is just an outward reaction to a problem deep down. Modified I once met a guy who said he is not proud but he is confident. like, seriously? I don't know the difference? A humble person cannot be confident? chrisooblog: |

Well, at least Tammy was called up to the England's U-21s ahead of the May 26 - June 9 Maurice Revello tournament in Toulon, southern France. I think it is also called the Toulon Tournament. Also called up are Ovie Ejaria and Fikayo Tomori and also... Lukas Nmecha. Togo is one of the 12 nations involved. No Lookman. 2 Likes |

Martz101: Thomas Nkono was Cameroon's first choice to the 1990 AFCON. And was aged 34. He already had a pre-world cup tournament experience and yes look at his age again. This is not the same case for Uzoho. 1 Like |

I no wan bare my opinion on this matter before. But let me just say this simply. There is a reason why there is order of authority. It is like that in heaven. Nowhere in the Bible will you see the Son having more authority than the Father, but ALWAYS the other way around (whether you believe in Trinity or not). Likewise the same thing is extended to the earth by God -- an order of authority. Money should never be the basis of authority. It would be better for the family that way, and the society at large. Women should earn as much as they please. Only men who are control freaks and who see money as everything will be intimidated by the success of a woman. Modified Let me ask what are feminists really fighting for? Equality or reversal of authority. it is just an honest question. kentebemoney: |

Am so dissappointed reading some of your comments and its glaring that some of you are out to cause confusion in the highly spirited team. I strongly believed you were bribed to do that. It is obvious Gernot Rohr and Co has done us alot of good in the nation team but you (agents) are trying to frustrate his efforts. Believe me You(agents) shall be shamed sooner or later. God bless Rohr, God bless the super eagles, God bless Nigeria. 2 Likes 1 Share |
