Well, at least Tammy was called up to the England's U-21s ahead of the May 26 - June 9 Maurice Revello tournament in Toulon, southern France. I think it is also called the Toulon Tournament.

Also called up are Ovie Ejaria and Fikayo Tomori and also... wink Lukas Nmecha.

Togo is one of the 12 nations involved.

No Lookman.
Oya come see o @Elyte89 our boy has been called up as I predicted. He tops the list. This time around for the '3 cubs of England'.

He needs to continue from where he stopped.

Lol, after the list was released, Brilla FM Onitsha asked Nigerians to name the 7 players to be dropped from the 30. Lo and behold, a human being of Nigerian origin mentioned Iheanacho, Musa, Joel Obi, Onazi and even Ighalo. Ofcourse his network provider must have been annoyed because he could not finish with his list when his voice started fading away grin grin

Yes but, still, the draws are not as random as they would have you believe. Ask yourself this question: why is it that the host nation almost always gets the easiest group? Even South Africa has a very easy group although they still failed to qualify. Secondly, why does England almost always get one of the easiest groups? Luck of the draw?

Yea right! The whole thing is rigged. It's a rigged system.

Joebie:
On the last bolded, what can u say about draws now? Only the host country is assured of a group, usually Group A. All the top seeded teams are drawn into groups. No wonder he was disgraced out of office. There will always be corruption in every society, but measures must be taken from within to check the excesses. As we try to make it better, the corrupt ones will always try to get smarter.

Nigeria Vs DR Congo Friendly: Ebola Death Toll Rises In DRC
May 18, 2018 1:31 pm

Ahead of the Super Eagles of Nigeria’s international friendly against Democratic Republic of Congo on May 28, report has it that more people have died from the deadly Ebola virus that broke out in the central African country.

According to latest report by AFP news agency, the World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed that the new Ebola toll has risen to 45 cases with 14 confirmed and 25 dead.

DR Congo will be coming to Nigeria with 11 players from their local league named in their squad announced on Thursday.

The friendly is part of the Eagles’ preparations towards the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Nigeria Football Federation President Amaju Pinnick has assured that there is no cause for alarm and the friendly will go ahead despite concerns.

The dreaded Ebola virus spread to Nigeria from Liberia in 2014 through a visiting Liberian.

However, it was quickly contained before it did extensive damage.

Meanwhile, WHO is to hold an emergency meeting to discuss the risk of Ebola spreading from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

And according to BBC, a panel will decide on Friday whether to declare a “public health emergency of international concern” , which would trigger a larger response.
Cases emerged in a rural area with one now confirmed in the city of Mbandaka.

The city of about one million people is a transport hub on the River Congo, prompting fears that the virus could now spread further, threatening the capital Kinshasa and surrounding countries.

Commenting on the Ebola issue, WHO deputy director-general for emergency response Peter Salama told BBC the spread to Mbandaka meant there was the potential for an “explosive increase” in cases.

“This is a major development in the outbreak,” he told the BBC. “We have urban Ebola, which is a very different animal from rural Ebola. The potential for an explosive increase in cases is now there.”

Salama said Mbandaka’s location on the River Congo raised the prospect of Ebola spreading to Congo-Brazzaville and the Central African Republic, as well as downstream to Kinshasa, which has a population of 10 million.

“This puts a whole different lens on this outbreak and gives us increased urgency to move very quickly into Mbandaka to stop this new first sign of transmission,” he said.

you are still drifting, my point was that there was a goal keeper crisis before the tounerment and it still didn't affect there play, N'gono was not dropped to 3rd choice for nothing, maybe just maybe Uzoho might not be in goal and we might have an Akpeyi or Ezenwa and everything might still go well.

Amuneke is an agent coach.

Just like when we had Enyeama, Ejide and Aiyenugba. We don't have that kind of depth to make such comparison. We are in a worse dire situation.

Don't mind those ones. Na super abundance of quality options dey worry them.

But for us... We will surely pick our best. Just imagine doing what Mazimee said that caller on a radio station was suggesting... Dropping Iheanacho, Ighalo, Musa, Onazi et al as part of seven players to he dropped... Hahahahahahahahaha.... Omo I will personally put a bullet in Rohr for that... grin (But ofcos he no fit try am naa... even in a parallel universe sef).

Rohr has done well so far and his selections have been spot on of the most parts. For the first time since France 1998, I can tell you boldly that we are going to the World cup with a team loaded also with quality options on the bench through out the department of the team. And this team may turn out to be better.... But let time reveal the remaining. wink Time will tell...

“This puts a whole different lens on this outbreak and gives us increased urgency to move very quickly into Mbandaka to stop this new first sign of transmission,” he said.

While Mikel is the heart and eye of Super Eagles.

Na d reason why I just want this FA cup final to come and go.

In as much as I appreciate Moses for his his contribution to our qualifiers I still no feel that guy. His lateness to camp and attitude during games, how he holds the ball and drain the energy of other players is very depressing. And honestly I value Ighalo over Moses in the attack. Ighalo is pure business and disciplined.

Yes we really need change.. I'm not denying that.. But if we are really going to change things we need leaders that have the know-how. And what I've just highlighted is for us understand the root of the problem. if we don't start from there -- the way we think as a people -- we cannot reorientate ourselves for change. Parents will need to start having a different conversation with their kids. Teachers will need to start teaching with a whole new perspective. Our school curriculum should be designed to embrace our history with an analytical approach. Our children should be spurred to ask questions and not just accept anything and everything as "na so e be" or "na so dem dey do am". We are not intelligent because we don't ask questions. we are not intelligent because we don't challenge ourselves to find better solutions to problems . But we think we are intelligent based on the number of degrees we have.

My friend corruption is a reality. But we need to first analyze the root cause of the problem.

Exactly! Just what I was sharing with my brother the other day. It all starts from home
