Go learn about 'The Ripple Effect" for better understanding How many poor/average individual have you seen in come out for a position in politics and won even just party primaries because they dont have money to spend,if you people condone them now there is no reason why you wont do so in future ...you can keep deceiving yourself all you want but this will be the same set of people that will become your future leader if not curbed now LieutenantBOBO: |

Barzinime: Just because no poor/average individual has come out for a position & won before doesn't mean it's not possible. That's what they said about Obama. But yet, he won the election & became a black president. Before an average individual can win, all these politicians in power will have to be removed. NO body running for a position will win if he doesn't have the support of the godfather's in Nigeria. And that's fact! The only way there can be truly a free & fair election, is if all these politicians are completely removed. So i still stand my ground that if i had the power to eridcate all the politicians, I would. |

LieutenantBOBO: Stop lying. You are in support of yahoo boys, otherwise you would not have defended their antics in your post by saying "Some boys are going into yahoo just because they have exhausted all their options. In a country where everything is monopoly & based on connection.....I'll eridcate all the politicians ASAP & leave the yahoo boys...." Why do you people keep waving such pathetic excuses around? A supporter of a criminal, is just as bad as that criminal. The same God that gave Linda Ikeji a brain to earn an honest living from blogging, has also given you and every other person, an adequate brain that can also be used to earn an honest living, through straightforward means. Despite the fact that Facebook, Amazon, Google and other platforms are active today, several developers keep creating more platforms, that end up being bought over by the likes of Facebook, at the end of the day. Yahoo boys are just as deadly than armed robbers. The only difference lies in the tools of their trade. You think armed robbers who carry guns and knives to kill and rob victims are the only evil ones? Then it means you have not seen the people who fall victim to the yahoo boys - the victims whose lives are cut short by instalments, or the ones who lose life, limbs, honour, family, relationships, businesses, reputation and resources to the fraud perpetrated by such scammers. Do you know how many people they have scammed who died an untimely death, as a result of the scams perpetrated on their transactions, their bank accounts and other sources of livelihood? Do you know how many people became homeless, as a result of the money they lost to fraudsters? Do you know how many suffered stroke or ran mad, due to the activities of 419, yahoo boys and fraudsters who deprived them of their life's savings? Do you know how many children dropped out of school, how many kids died in hospital, and how many marriages were broken because fathers and mothers lost their hard earned money to scammers and yahoo boys? Do you know how many legitimate businesses have folded up, or how many workers were sacked, as their owners were thrown into penury, because of yahoo boys? I repeat: May God release divine vengeance and judgement on all yahoo boys, from now till eternity. May all yahoo boys, fraudsters and scammers perish, without delay! And the people said - Amen. 3 Likes

ibsadiq: There are actually 3 data centres in Nigeria. MDX-I Lekki Data Center is a Tier 3 certified facility owned by MainOne. Medallion Data Centre in Lagos is also a colocation data center, which is carrier neutral, while the 3rd data centre is Rack Centre in Ikeja. |

laudate: Stop lying. My dear, please answer this question. Do you think that most youths will become an internet fraudster if they had a good job with good pay? If the government generated jobs for the youths, do you think the rate of internet fraudsters would still be on the rise? Or do you think someone would just wake up one morning & say i would like to be an armed robber or internet fraudster when i grow up? Just because you're privileged to have a job & eat a 3 square meal doesn't mean there are not people out there struggling to survive. And when I said I would shoot all politicians & leave the yahoo boys, that's because, it is these politicians that are the root of the problem. The money that they are supposed to inject into the economy & create new jobs, they move it to another country. The same God that gave Linda Ikeji a brain to earn an honest living from blogging, has also given you and every other person, an adequate brain that can also be used to earn an honest living, through straightforward means.Yes, God gave everyone an equal brain. But when you talk, talk from the facts around you. Linda started blogging back in 2002 when it was not popular. That time, most youths were still in school. And now she has written her name in the world of blogging, do you think there's any one that can compete with her, bella naija & others who started back in those years? Bloggers earn their money through adverts. Now do you think someone would leave Linda who has thousands of traffic daily to go and advertise on another blog with few traffic & who does copy & paste from Linda? Despite the fact that Facebook, Amazon, Google and other platforms are active today, several developers keep creating more platforms, that end up being bought over by the likes of Facebook, at the end of the day.You mentioned only foreign names why's that? Facebook, Amazon & Google. But no Nigerian business. Well, let me explain it for you. Developers keep creating more platforms because there are A LOT of companies in the US that invest in these new startups. They sponsor the developers & in return, they get a share in the company. Now, can you tell me a company in Nigeria that you can pitch your idea to & they would sponsor you? Some of them would even steal your ideas & invest in it themselves. All these that you said about yahoo boys, do you think it doesn't also apply to politicians? When they loot the money meant for civil servants, do you think those workers don't also get frustrated with life & commit suicide? If most government teachers were getting their pay on time, do you think that they would be taking bribes from students? I know a friend, till today, the government is owing his mum salary of 15 years. 15 long years! Now, isn't that wickedness? You should know that Nigeria lost 2 data center construction projects to South Africa. Microsoft & Facebook snubbed Nigeria for South Africa because of the condition of our power sector. Now, do you know that just a single data center is capable of generating 1 million jobs? But because of our greedy politicians who embezzle the money meant for the power sector, 2 million Nigerians who would have been employed to work in that data centers are now roaming the streets. Like i said, I'm not in support of yahoo boys. I am only pointing out the fact that there is an evil out there besides these yahoo boys. And if you can go after the yahoo boys, why can't you go after these politicians. Or are they above the law? 1 Like |
