MY PROPOSED VISA TRANSCRIPT 1. WHY DID YOU CHOOSE CSU? ANSWER: aside from the fact that CSU's curriculum matches with my desired course, CSU is ranked among the best national universities in the US by USnews and world report. Its engineering program is ranked among the top 200 in the us. Also one the major reason why I choose CSU is because the tuition and room and board charges is guaranteed for fall 2018. Which means there won't be any subsequent charge on those fees. And With this I was able to have a good and proper estimation of my four years course in CSU.( this is stated clearly on the schools website) 2.WHAT WILL THIS COURSE DO FOR YOU? Answer: As a passionate computer lover, this course will give me more knowledge on how to practise computer. It will equip me with the knowledge on how to solve and fix computer problem. Also considering the fact that this degree is gotten from US it will add more credit to my profile and make me fit and more relevant to compete in the Nigerian market. WHAT IS YOUR HIGHEST LEVEL OF QUALIFICATION? Answer: Olevel certificate WHEN DID YOU GRADUATE AND WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING SINCE AFTER GRADUATION? Answer: after my graduation in 2012, I got admission to study computer science in IMO state university. But due to the incessant strike here in the Nigerian educational sector and also considering the fact that the course was not well treated in my school here, no good research centers. My family and I had to fast track my study in the us. Because if am unable to grab anything in my undergraduate level there won't be anything to master on. (i got admitted to the school in 2014 and dropped in 2016, when the school was on a long period strike due to internal issues with the state govt. and started work as a data analyst in a company where am working till now) 3.DID YOU CHOOSE ANY OTHER SCHOOL? COMPARE THE SCHOOLS. ANSWER: I consider so many schools but I only settled for two. Which is CSU and uhv..the most common things among the schools is that the both are public schools and are tier 2 universities in the us. CSU is a national public university while uhv is a regional west public university. Also the both offer bsc in computer science. 4. WHAT WOULD YOU BE DOING AFTER THIS COURSE?? Answer: Considering the fact that the degree gotten from the us is highly respected internationally. This degree will make me more relevant in the Nigerian work sector. So I will be returning home to join the work force in my country. I will be fit to work in different sectors such as Industries, government etc. Everything I have said here is nothing but the truth. This is also how I listed them on my DS160. You can criticise my TRANSCRIPT but your contributions and corrections are highly needed boss. @lagosismyhome @TheAmerican @Bigfrancise @walspring. pls all the gurus in the house should help me out in reviewing my transcript. |

For all visa hopefuls, I like to recommend that you visit US EMBASSY NIGERIA Facebook page and watch some videos of VOs clearly orientatating viewers on f1 visa. I saw about three of d 'live of facebook' videos and they really helped my understanding a great deal..I thank God for this thread...it is one of the best things to have ever happened through a Nigerian. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Niv25: I will always caution about using that excuse above .... Nigeria is bad yes but not that bad . The embassy staff sees daily loads of Nigerian graduate going for their masters. Also there are loads of Universities now in Nigeria that doesn't go on strike 4 Likes 1 Share |

its a tier 2 school but if you want to be sure its a good school you should consider these things: For a school to be categorized has a good school it should have both Educational quality and Reputation. So have you made your findings about the school faculty? You see What is best for a particular student depends entirely on their specific goals. The particular strength of any program in a school will depend on the areas of expertise represented by its faculty members. if no one in that department is an expert in the particular subfield in which you want to specialized, then that particular program in that school probably will not help you reach your goals. Does this school have a selective acceptance rate? or admission is an easy ride? have you checked the alumni network strength of that school? Is there a line of successful alumni from the school? you can check one of these reliable source for the school reputation ranking Usnews & world Report Times Higher Educational World University Ranking You should also use "National Center for Educational Statistics College Navigator" this tool is designed to help students find out about the institution Graduation rates, Accreditation and other stuffs You may also be able to discover schools that are under fire by checking the "Us Department of Educational Heightened Cash Monitoring list" on the list you will find compliance issues that may include accreditation problems, concerns about administrative capabilities and denial of recertification if your school is on the list then it is a definite warning sign of a bad reputation for students So find out about all these things and then you can say for your self if its a good school or not whyqueu: 2 Likes |

LagosismyHome: Hello Ma, that's not an excuse ma, as at that time there were lots of strikes in IMO state university. As a result of the free education policy for indigenes of IMO state. which the government was not able to fund well. even after the school strikes, came the absu strike that lasted for over six months which got me frustrated. I have to say the truth but maybe my choice of words might make it look like am giving excuse. pls help me with a better way I can present my profile. I will really appreciate your reply ma |

theamerican:spinning the argument around to claim amoral, even when you're wrong; classic move. Iglobal is red flag school, a visa mill, a school running on accreditation roller-coaster, no Nigerian is definitely going to get a visa in 2018 with that school; yes I said so. Funny how on your other thread, you're advising Nigerians to leave the hell-hole which is Nigeria, and run to the USA, and here you are claiming oblivious to a doomed immigration intent, seeing someone on the damned path to the fiery lake of Gehenna, and you say it's none of your business. turns out you're a two faced lying BS writer . we've seen your type all over NL over and over again, babyosisi, odiaero, jennykadry et al . soldier go soldier come, and i'll still be observing here from my one room here in mushin, shining my teeth 11 Likes |
