What Does A Man Do Alone In A House For Days by initiate: 4:00pm On May 18, 2018

My landlord who lives in another state comes around once every two months or thereabouts. He stays for about 3 to 5 days . Once he goes into his flat he doesn't come out again until he is ready to leave. Not even to show face on the balcony. And when he is going he leaves about 6 am. Any thoughts on what he could be upto?

Well, I think you should worry less. Technology has made things easier. I've been in my room since morning, made/received series of phone calls and a video call, even made bank transactions without checking on my neighbor next door. I can go on for days as far as my phone beeps at interval.

He is probably [one or more of all these]:
1. Exercising vigorously day in day out to while away time.
2. Watching TV.
3. Arranging a young university aged female who he'll scatter her kpekus till he tires.
4. Drinking like a 21 year old, passing out, experiencing hangovers then doing the same again.
5. Watching porn.
6. Practicing cooking skills and over-eating.
7. Viewing Nairaland and wondering what concerns you.
8. Any random thing you can think of.

You're lucky to get a landlord who doesn't nose into all your affairs, sniff out how rich your meals are, number/caliber of visitors you get, etc. This gentleman of a landlord minds his business and is a jolly homebody and you're bothered?

He's probably just an introvert who can't deal with unnecessary small talk here and there. Be thankful you don't have an interfering man as a landlord.

You could go find out what is in his apartment that keeps him indoors for days on end no biggie. Worse case scenario, your head becomes a mantelpiece or a fruit bowl or even less severe, you become his next money printing machine. But until then..........

Is it hard to ask someone what he does? Since you're so nosy walk up to him then. Don't forget to report back to us.
The man is probably prakking a uni girl. When in bed with someone of the opposite sex time flies, a few days seem like only a few hours. I'm sure his fridge is stocked up so there's no need for going out.

I did a certain job for a month. It was a month contract, I was always busy plus the job was strenuous.

I couldn't wait for the job to end.
