Dont be so quick my bro.... there are kids that actually had understanding of the game back then. Its all about interest. I remember the 86 world cup. There was a dude in my primary school who could list the starting 11 of Argentina. We used to fight on which country to choose when playing "table soccer " with bottle covers. And paste calender numbers on the cover to depict jerseys. Children of today are hounded in the house. Its all about playstation and XBox today
I did this thing with the 94 set.

We saw France's left-at-home-XI .. Now look at Spain's...
Alonso is the only one that's been cheated. The rest deserve the drop. Morata played second fiddle to Giroud after he crossed over.

I had to check the moniker saying this, bros really,7 defenders?? or maybe you dont have plans of making it far in the worldcup.

each position should have atleast 2 players and the goal keeper taking and added spot, remember injuries because they have lesstime to rest between games and even after a long season not forgeting cards too

All positions must not have back ups.

Certain players can play more than one position.

Argentina is a team that expect to go very far in the tournament yet dey listed only 6 defenders.

Oga Police you no see when people were discussing America, White or Black husband/wife and other marriage/love issues all through the weekend . You no talk.

At least the oldies talk is directly related to football. Abeg, if u don't like the topic then raise one and let's discuss mbok.
It's natural na. Season don end. We are just generally robbing minds before action kicks us. Talking about this memories is just a way of whetting our appetites. I'm sure alot of people enjoyed it yesterday. I did immensely. DaveP reminded me of lighthouse song and the song has been playing in my heart since morning.

mascherano plays in the defence for them now so it's 7, moreover are we Argentina, who says Argentina is doing the right thing, why not use France or Brazil as a model

So Argentina had the luxury to drop Mauro Icardi from final 23man squad.... Hmmm

Argentina's World Cup squad:
Goalkeepers: Sergio Romero (Manchester United), Willy
Caballero (Manchester City), Franco Armani (River Plate).
Defenders: Gabriel Mercado (Sevilla), Cristian Ansaldi
(Torino), Nicolas Otamendi (Man City), Federico Fazio
(Roma), Marcos Rojo (Man United), Nicolas Tagliafico
(Ajax), Marcos Acuna (Sporting), Eduardo Salvio
(Benfica).
Midfielders: Javier Mascherano (Hebei), Lucas Biglia
(Milan), Ever Banega (Sevilla), Giovani Lo Celso (PSG),
Manuel Lanzini (West Ham), Angel Di Maria (PSG), Maxi
Meza (Independiente).
Forwards: Lionel Messi (Barcelona), Paulo Dybala
(Juventus), Sergio Aguero (Man City), Gonzalo Higuain
(Juventus), Cristian Pavon (Boca Juniors).
That defence cannot stop our team from seeing the back of the net at least twice. they can't.

I have a string feeling Ajiboye will cause Akpeyi to be dropped. Ezenwa is also not that secure.

Lol @Etebo.

Iwobi is passing a message I don't like with the presence of his dad.

And whoever thinks Rohr will drop Joel Obi need to think again. That guy is very disciplined ,hardly loses any ball,he grows with the game and can be very influential in the game.

I can give you three good reasons why Joel Obi might b dropped.
1) He is injury prone.. no sensible coach will take an injury prone player to the world cup without proper assessment of his fitness level
2) He isn't a regular in the team.. I dare say even Mikel Agu is ahead of him currently.. When he was injury free and in form after Rohr was appointed, was he invited?
3) He hasn't done anything extraordinary better than our current midfielders in the GWG . club and national team are different.. in the two games Joel played in March,he did nothing special despite all the hype his fans gave him...

so don't rule out the possibility of him being dropped yet
