Really pleasantly surprised by the play of these young Nigerian guys.

We have played well but Athletico are not playing with the kind of intensity that they normally do. They are taking it easy.

I will definitely join his fan club. His touches are lovely. And his movement is a beauty, his goal world class.

Brighton are strugglers. They are relegation candidates and might drag Leon to the championship soon.
That was in last season oo..

And you think leon cannot force a move to another EPL club if brighton are relegated?

Yeah, they are taking it easy on us. Athletico Madrid at maximum intensity is no much for almost any National team.

Just glad the guys are matching an Athletico team at 50-70% intensity. And yeah, we are also playing a "d" team...so it's even grin

K.Nwakali is class... Apart from his goal, his ball control and distribution, when he has handled the ball in the middle has been easy on the eye. He is definitely one for the future.

Chidi Nwakali has been playing pretty deep and just trying to play safe.

Emem Eduok has the moves but he overdoes it most times and he overuses his body strength unnecessarily. He is trying too hard to impress.

Samadi Kadiri has been splendid. His runs, his well timed passes and awareness is really beautiful to see for one so unknown to most.

Musa Mohammed has been very spritely down that right.

Dayo Ojo has not asserted himself as he would have wanted but he is a good player.

Alhassan Muazzam was realy disappointing. Little wonder he was subbed out... But guess what destiny Ashadi is kinda worse than Alhassan so far. How could he miss that chance created yet again by The impressive Kadiri Samadi.
I hope he steps up in the second half.

Femi Thomas has been decent. The goal Correa scored him was a touch of class. Although a goalie should be mindful of his near post. But in all, he's been okay. Has twice come out to make vital interceptions.

Whosoever is playing that LB needs a touch of the anointing. Sir BascoVanveli plsss what is his name again? Ejoor...

In all, a balanced game shaa... Hope to see more action and fight from the boys.

Easiest chance of the match.. At least get it on target... Reminds me of Gambo Muhammad in the confederations cup.

Abeg in future games like these they should limit the number of NPFL players.

We want to see more of our young uncapped talents in Europe jare. The Nwakalis and Musa are stand out performers thus far.

Ebube Duru but I don't think he has been so bad. Just not the best crosser of the ball.

The match was meant for the NPFL. It is the LMC LA Liga partnership if anything they will reduce foreign players.
