andrew444: Did Kelechi Nwakali flop or not? How come with his 9 games and 1 goal, he was demoted to a lower division 2? At least, the flopped Kayode made the la Liga team of the week with the likes of Messi and co, and later moved to a bigger club where he made the player of the month in a team Taison and Fred going to the world Cup plays. At least, that flop is better. 1 Like |

komekn: Yes nwakali is not good enough for SE no doubt but he is not a striker he is a central midfielder so how many goals do you want him to score ? He played 30 games this season with 5 goals and 2 assist,so you want him to score as a striker ? If this is the way you think stop watching football and stick to hockey...#anothermanwithnoclue# 1 Like |

andrew444: You miss the point. What has been Balogun performance over the last 7/8 years in the German league system❓ He was struggling on the bench at Mainz a team thats been romancing relegation. So do you think he will now come to the EPL and tear it up. You can not be a mouse in London then turn to Lion when you reach Lagos. Not likely. |

forgiveness: Lol you have no clue man, keep on disgracing your self Did kayode flop or not ? 12 games no goal and you don't want to call him flop? Nwakali was loaned to another club he had a good stint in that club the first time he was loaned there. Someone made team of the week no goals and no assist ? What are you smoking, you can't hide the fact you are a tribalist 1 Like |

komekn: Yes balogun might not have the best season but why are you hyping the EPL? So because mainz is a relegation team does that mean he will not play well in the EPL? Is brighton not also a relegation team? You make it look like EPL is on another level which is not |
A few of them are still around and doing well... One of them is Franck Kessie from the 2013 class. He is at AC Milan now. Victorien Angban was signed by Chelsea I think... He is out on loan in Belgium @Waasland Beveren. [/ I see...but compaired against Nigeria...as in players transition from junior level to senior level...we seem to have done better...I also think that they need a good coach..Wilmorts..no... |
only if england had flair players all these years bar gazza maybe they would have reached a world cup or euro final since 1966[/quote That could have been a possibility in the past. But football is changing and tactical astuteness, structure and discipline seemingly relegating flair without end product to the background. unfortunately football is becoming boringly efficient. |

So Arsenal have finally confirmed Unai Emery as their new coach.... What are Iwobi's chances like in Emery's reign? Anyway, I believe a great WC for Iwobi will make Emery take early notice of him before he even returns to The emirates to meet his new manager. 1 Like

Humility017: You have created a new unit of measurement for quality players " heart of a Lion" how do you determine this all encompassing attribute. Therefore tactical astuteness, technical ability, vision and discipline are not intrinsic to quality. Eventually quality will be recognised with upward progression into top clubs and leagues. The basis for selection MUST BE consistent top quality performances in your club. The betterment club and league the greater standing given to the player. Not too long ago I rated the EPL considerably better than the Bundesliga. Which is a one club league Bayern Munich win everything until last Saturday. Batshuayi and Ademola literally forgotten men and bench warmers have come to Bundesliga and ripped it apart from day one. Rohr is not tu beginning and end of football analysis and player quality assessment. In addition unless you are close to Rohr what he says in public and what he truly believes you really have no idea. In addition we do not know what external pressures are put on him. 1 Like |

Nihilstjnr: Oga...... na wa for you O! How old you be sef? Cos for sure if you started following Okocha from the days of Enugu rangers, you wont be popping all this noise! Are you for real? Abeg wetin else Okocha suppose do that he has not done? Win champions league? Abi na world cup? Of all the players wen dey naija, how many ever won champions league aside Kanu, Finidi and Mikel? You just come here dey pour sand sand for garri , dey piss for soup wey people dey chop. I bet if Naija had won the 2002 nations cup, would he have gone down as a legend to you? As i dey type this thing, i dey vex. Like seriously i cant recall being this angry with any moniker in here. Haba! Fear God na. No be legend no be legend, Eintracht named him, bolton also. More importantly, he is an Afcon winner, Olympic gold medallist. That in itself is no mean feat.... just simply admit that its a personal thing you have against Austin Jayjay Okocha and we will leave you alone as one Ephraim joined to his idols. But if you are claiming to be speaking objectively, then I say your objectivity is a little skew. Okocha... U no even fear. Na so u and wetin this other guy name take rubbish Yekini. I dey look. But this one, e be like say you waka find trouble for real. Everyone has opinions and are free to air them. But when opinions start tending towards rubbishing other people's hard earned achievements, then thats when enough becomes enough! 5 Likes |

andrew444: What's is truth in the context of football. Your approach is wrong, there is mostly opinion garnished with facts but opinion is what is the overriding component. In football there will be huge differences in opinion, you should respect other opinions. This childish calling people derogatory names, tribalist and troll is uncalled for on this forum. 2 Likes |

andrew444: What do you define hype. In my opinion it is the misrepresentation of facts and the exaggeration of attributes. The Bundesliga is a literary a one club league where Bayern Munich win everything. True or false. UEFA rate the EPL the second best in Europe and the Bundesliga fourth, FACT. How many EPL clubs were in the last 16 of the Champions league and how many Bundesliga clubs These are the facts stop being emotive and sentimental in the negative against the EPL. The facts are there for all to see. |

Joebie: Kelechi Nwakali was not a flop so tey he was demoted to a lowly second division because no descent club in a decent league saw his exceptional ability, right? At least, Kayode made the team of the week and was still noticed by a lowly second division 2 club, ooo Sorry, Shakhtar Donetsk with the likes of Taison and Fred going to the world Cup. How can a flop player be noticed by such lowly club? |

forgiveness: Lol... Please answer same question for Solanke at Liverpool and for Kayode at Girona (when you claimed he was not being fancied at Girona to get enough 90 mins games). How could he be noticed when he played so little even in just 9 eredivisie appearances? Lol.. Smh... Funny questions. Please.. I am very busy to engage in endless ping pong when your mind is already fixed on denying a bonafide talent... Thing is you cannot change what happened yesterday. Rohr saw for himself and was so impressed... So let time tell.

komekn: lol I taught Epl is the best league in Europe ? Sit there and talk about how many teams are in the last 16,they are 5 Epl teams in the last 16 so how many succeed ? Thanks to Liverpool For the past years Epl has been a failure in Europe, you think the richest league means the best club, seems you can brag about 5 Epl teams in the last 16 why are there no all England final ? Even Everton and co have been a disgrace to the Europa league,Everton could not even make it out of the group stage they failed to record a win against the back waters league team. Mancity can buy players from small teams like Bilbao Man united can get player to the first team from small club like Bilbao, even arsenal can buy from Malaga, but a Barcelona or Madrid will never buy from Newcastle Everton and stoke,Chelsea can buy from fiorentina and the player will make first team, but Italian champions juventus cant buy from Everton, this says a lot of the teams. So who is first seems Epl is second ? |
