[Thanks for the info. I do have a question though. I been seeing people post legalising ssce result. is this process applicable for masters programme. I am made to believe this isn't needed for mine. Do I still to have it legalise. Thanks
To authenticate ur Bsc certificate at the Ministry of Education, you need to authenticate ur SSCE certificate too. Without ur original ssce certificate, the Ministry of Education will not attend to you.

Thanks for the info bro.
The part were you said certificate should be taken to the school to be stamped as a certified true copy isn't clear. My came with a red seal/stamp...can you kindly clarify better,Pls
If you want to legalize the photocopy of ur certificate, that photocopy has to be stamped as certified true copy by the issuing organization or else the embassy would send you back to do it
Hello Belgium prospective students, just to let you know that legalization at the Royal Embassy of Belgium, Usuma Street, Abuja is now 6,200 naira per document and also application fee at VFS located at Lobito Crescent, Abuja is now 65,500 naira you also need to pay the additional visa fee to the home office in euro (215euro). My wife just submitted and waiting for her interview. I may answer questions too because i had lived in Belgium where i studied in 2012 but came back to Naija because of some personal stuffs although i got admitted this year to a popular university there too this year and another in Czech republic, i've started processing that of Czech already. Advice, try to hold tight to what you have and do not let it go.. Good luck. Belgium is a nice place, friendly people and lovely sights and cities. Brother you can have job while schooling too. Just to mention but few. Good luck to y'all.

Please do have an idea about the visa interview? I want to get prepared for it, please help me out with the questions. Thank you

Thanks for the response. Between legalising original certificate and photocopy, which is better? My naive thinking is the original trump the photocopy. what do you think?

Depends on which stage of the process u are, to complete ur application process tithe school might require go send a legalize copy of if certificate. You can't send the original. But for the visa process, u have to legalize the original

Thanks man for the insight. My issue is that my school (Unilag) refuse to issue out the original copy of my transcript. They also insisted they won't issue it to Federal ministry of Education or any ministry, citing that they only send the official documents to academic institutions, professional bodies, and scholarship board. At the moment, I'm in a limbo. Though the school in Belgium (Ugent) has gotten my sealed documents.

Do you have any idea how I can circumvent this issue?
Re: Anyone Studying In Belgium? by Kenra: 10:24pm On May 31, 2018
Transcript matters, You can collect it yourself through an educational agent then go to their office to collect it. You can also arrange with a secondary school and address it to the person who can then give it to you. That was how i got mine but (through not Unilag)

You can arrange with secondary school and address that the transcript be sent there.

Thanks for the insight. The idea seem nice and I will try it. However, I don't whether unilag will fall for that given I once tried sending it to the Ministry of Education which they refused.

once again thank. I will let you know it pan out.

since the doc have been legalised by d spanish embassy having in mind that the transcript is from a spanish school.. then you have to legalise it also at the belgian embassy for the school to accept it...

i hope its not stated that the school should send the transcript themselves. if so.. then u have to mail the spanish school to send your transcript to belgium. because it wont be accepted if its coming from you

Also please anyone who has done it before that can help. Me?

I think you will need that (Bsc) as well as SSCE (I'm not sure about this one) for the legalisation. I'm due to do mine next week, so hopefully I can get more useful details.

in any case, other experience guys can help in providing relevant information on this.

cheers
