Liar! Even Russia is rated above Ukraine. Ukraine sits in number 8 not 7.

Holland is no. 14 and rated ahead of over 35 other leagues IN Europe.

And these lies you guys keep spreading about MOTM awards won by kayode IN Ukraine...... Please... With three goals and 2 or 3 assists... How many exactly did he win!? Just imagine the lies thwsw lots want us to swallow. I only know about one.... But you guys make it look like he's Ben tearing up the Ukrainian league... Na WA for these lies.
You can cook up half truths to hype kayode but will turn a blind eye to his goals return all season ooooo.... About his poor return in LA Liga.

But if it is Nacho you will easily change perspective. You mister are a joke.

A real ass joke.

You are being carried away and open to public ridicule with your Negative prejudice and bias.

Ukraine sits at No.8 in Europe that's just a slight misrepresentation and mistake. This is what you hinge your derogatory deduction of LIAR upon. That's dissaponting I actually expected more from you. Descending to the level of abuse and insult really should not be the way you prove your point.

https://www.uefa.com/memberassociations/uefarankings/country/index.html

You further make w claim of change of perspective with regard to KC I'm not sure what you mean. But it's definitely in the negative.

My opinion remains the same an excellent player who has had a poor season whatever the excuses you present for him. 21 EPL games and 3 goals for a £25 million forward player or if you like striker, is a very poor return.

Finally can you stop the abuse it's TOTALLY UNCALLED for.

all your examples are club related. You have not shown us one example that pertains to the National team.

Let us go down memory lane as to how indiscipline has cost National teams.

1) the 2002 French team where everyone was too big for the coach, how far did Anelka and his gang go in the World Cup?

2) Ghana in 2014

Imagine if three or four players in this team decided to follow Moses' footsteps, would it be alright?

God bless you, my love!

When was the last time we loved the cameraderie in a Nigerian squad? When was the last time the fans really connected to the Super Eagles? And lastly, what did we do differently? Is it luck?

As you rightly asked, what will happen if other players followed the line of Moses? Everyone forming big boy?

I watched a Dolph Lundgren interview about how they were able to pull off the Expendables movie. Did you notice that each person in the movie is a superstar in his own right? But they all honored the project without feeling threatened and thus the movie was a huge success. My own prayer is that these antecedents dont cost us harmony in the team. kai.. take it easy na...

some section of us here think the club or league a player plays for automatically determines who they are better or worse than.. for me, it's not absolute. K. Nwakali showed us he is a special talent. Even Ejaria could not have pulled that against Atleti two days ago.

The biggest word in football to me is not ability but OPPORTUNITY. Opportunity will show case your talent and ability without opportunity your ability will amount to nothing.

What determines football player quality is CONSISTENCY of top performance. Every player can display a moment of Wow Effect. I can assure you there are non league players who can do this too. However, can you do it consistently that's the component that distinguishes OUTSTANDING QUALITY. That component will cause your outward d progression into better and bigger leagues and top clubs.

For me your club form is the overriding component and consideration. Although there will be exceptions for instance lack of opportunity in a big club like Chelsea, Barca, and or contention with Manager.

If a player is in a lower league I would expect him to be one of the most outstanding and consistent players in that league. Not relying on past youthful glories for the U17 Eaglets.

For instance Dele Alli, Ademola Lookman, Gomez, etc were catapulted from League one to the EPL the rest is history as we say.

My negative unfounded assumption is that there is a preference for former national youth players in giving them opportunity into the SE. Completely disregarding current performance and progression in whatever league or club they may be in.

Ndidi on this one
Statically (tackles plus interceptions) the best defensive midfielder in Europe.

Wenger (I love the man) did a lot of fuckkked up transfer recently. Brought in Xhaka for more than twice the fee of Ndidi when it's obvious the team is in dire need of a tough tackler. Emery would have really made do with an Ndidi at the moment. SMH

it's not that I am denying Moses' importance in the team, and if he and Rohr have an agreement, that is all fine and good, but can Rohr read the minds of his team mates?

If, in a family, the parents give leeway to just one of the children simply because he performs best in his academics, will the other children not feel slighted?

I feel like most people supporting Moses are looking at things from the angle of "Moses and Rohr", they haven't considered that Rohr will not be on the pitch with Moses. That Yekini example, is therefore, a good one.

What if the other players decide that dem no go pass ball to Moses again? After all, since he is the golden boy, let him find a way to get the ball without the rest of the team.

Thank you. There is need for us to up our analysis here cos this thread is just too valuable to a lot of guys cos they believe this is the only place to get accurate information and good analysis on eagles.

I was damn surprised hearing from this thread that the presence of Aina's Father can influence Rohr.
No this shouldn't have come out from this thread

Also hearing that Kelechi Nwakili should be drafted to main eagles cos of his performance against Atletico Madrid.

No it's not done that way.I remember James Obiorah had a great game in one of the friendly prior to France 98 but dropped cos we have better prepared players like Okocha,Lawal,Adepoju and Oruma but if we go by talent i will rate only Jayjay ahead of Obiorah.

No doubt about Nwakili abilities as a player but sometimes a good promising young player just need to wait and keep.on developing. The future is bright for the young man.

And now reading some comments on Moses really surprised me as if this is not the thread where we have great analysts who understand the game very well.

Did Rohr complain about Moses attitudes? No meaning there is great communication between Rohg likely Moses would join the team in London with Rohr approval.

World cup is very near and better for us to talk football in a very analytical way.

Really! shocked

Are you serious?

Is Iwobi and Ebuehi's fathers not in the camp too?

Won't they influence the coach too?

Why the double standard?

Besides, I got the feelings or impression here that Ebuehi is ahead of Aina because he's a Benfica player. Bhuuuhahaha! grin

Is that not a joke?

If Ebuehi is a Benfica player, what of Aina?

Aina has even played for Chelsea last season before Ebuehi even dreamt of Benfica but I somehow prefer Ebuehi because he has gained experience over two seasons in the Eredivise and that is very important for a defender.

It's not that Ebuehi is better or more talented than Ola but I just considered the experience he gained for two seasons and the fact that I don't want us to lose him at all.

If anyone doubt the talent part, let us compare their ratings through a reputable and independent analysts.

This whoscored snapshot is the ratings of Aina, Ebuehi, Brian and Shehu. Compare. Who is better?

Consistency in national colors nko?. If Nwakalu’s Atlético performance was a fluke, he would eventually be dropped just like Rabiu Ibrahim and many others.

But like I said before, you need to make that consistent performance count when given the opportunity in national colors.

Why would you think ladies do these things strictly because of inferiority complex and self loathe. How about choices, how about variety. Even those who bleach why must it be that they want to be white. What is black, what are the shades of black. What if they bleach so as to look like fairer skinned blacks. There are different shades of blacks, most of us are not even black we are olive brown. Our naturally fair ladies, if you replicate their skin colour on paper no sane person will call it black. So what exactly is the black colour such that those bleaching are strictly trying to be white, how about if they trying to be like the fair/yellow girl next door who is as African as anyone else.
In most cultures fairer skin has often been associated with wealth, class, nobility.
In Europe a noble woman who be very pale and fair because she does not work outdoors, while a servant girl would be tanned and sun burnt. Remember Mirror mirror on the wall who is the fairest in all the land.. Snow White. So historically dark skin has generally been associated with a servant class. In evolution all early men are often depicted with darker skin, even those found in Caucasus, why is that.
Indians buy more bleaching cream than the whole of West Africa, because their caste system is closely linked to skin colour. Mere looking at you, they class you into the lower castes by the darker you are, so even the darked skinned Indians who are of the upper caste bleach their skin so as to reduce such mistaken classification.
So an African lady who wears Brazilian hair today, does Afro tomorrow, goes on low cut for another five years, plaits her hair with rubber or atmakasa, do braids often, do dreadlocks for another 3 years and generally does whatever pleases her or currently trends, would you say she has inferiority complex or she is just confused or she is just exercising her rights to choose what to wear.
There are whites now who would prefer to have tanned skin permanently, because now it is associated with the outdoors, vacations, healthy living. It is now a new cool to be darkened, being very white and pale means you don't go out probably poor, it means you look sickly/pale. White girls that tan and do lip and buttocks enlargement is it white loathing/ do they hate their heritage or is it just that they want something they desire and it has nothing to do with them regretting their race. Those that even do braids or cornrows are vilified for the silly cultural appropriation bullshit. Why can't people just groom themselves the way they want without race being attached.
Some guys will never be caught in native attires because they just don't like it, is that also self hate or inferiority complex.

That inferiority complex thing is a whole different matter. I like it that u went back to history because it helped expose the facts which is now staring at our faces.

Consider the Indian caste system you mentioned, ladies buy bleaching creams because culturally they are inferior if they looked darker.

How about the thought back then that the more dark u are the more u are thought of as a slave? Now that’s the root problem. Because we are still thinking with that slavery mindset.

Tanning is not about looking darker but getting a characteristic tone associated with exposure to the sun. If what I’ve said is untrue why did they not manufacture skin darkening creams? And if there is any out there, how popular is it among whites?

Conclusion if you still believe that the lighter the better you have succeeded in preserving that slavery mindset. And that’s the mindset I’m speaking against.

Many of us Africans have never been slaves. So why do we think like that?

I do not think it has to do with the color of his skin, nor with his geographical location. I feel the problem lies in the race consciousness. You cannot cheat consciousness. Yekini goal celebration in 94 is iconic, even FIFA can never forget, reason they remember and celebrate the guy every year
Asin... I hope they come up with something fun.

We support our own, but not to the extent of deliberately pulling the wool over our own eyes in the name of patriotism. Hardwerk may be toeing extreme lines by calling the team poo, but it is an inescapable fact that the team is bang average.

Realistically, very few of us are expecting Nigeria to win the world cup but stranger things have happened in football.

The Costa Rica team that went all the way to the quarters in 2014 before losing on penalties (beating Italy in the process), lost most of their pre-world cup friendlies and were not expected to do much. Many of their players were home-based. They would not even have been regarded as 'bang average' before the tournament.

Denmark won the Euros in 1992 as a replacement team. They did not qualify for the tournament. Greece overcame all odds and did it again. What about Iceland in the last Euros. These teams were not individually better than the current Nigerian team but they played to their strengths and pulled off what was deemed impossible.

Pre world cup friendlies mean nothing.

Columbia in 1994 was expected to win the world cup. They were unstoppable. Beating everyone they faced including Brazil and Argentina. When the world cup started, they were knocked out in the first round. Spain and Italy were sent packing in the first round, last time. You will not call those teams "bang average". France as defending champions and boasting of the best forward line in world football, Theirry Henry and Trezegeut, were knocked out in 2002 without a single goal. Losing to unknown "bang average" debutants Senegal.

We have a team that can hurt anyone on their day. It is about getting the system right when the tournament begins. It might not always be pretty and we might ride our luck sometimes but the team can achieve great things.

sharing free kicks responsibilities is the way forward.
Victor Moses should be saddled with the responsibility of taking set-pieces that falls on the left side of the pitch.
Kelechi should take those that falls to the right side. While John Obi Mikel takes anyone from the deep.

TThis way we will have a better chance of scoring them as we will be maximizing the kickers strengths.

If we are to use the serbia game to judge the performance of the team, dont you feel it boils down to the tactics employed by the coach in executing the match? Dont you also see that we lost all games that rohr ever lost because of wrong personnels on the midfield? Who will float the right passes to the attackers?... let us watch the England game and the Czech game before labelling them bang average. I am not calling them world class but i will also not call them bang average.

Lemme ask sef? When will this team be good enaf? If it were all about quality, Barcelona suppose win against Roma home and Away na? The earlier we realize that football has changed status, the beta. On paper, so many teams will beat Nigeria team but at the end of it all, it is 11 men vs 11 men.
If upset happens , una go say na luck.

grin grin dnt know why I find this comment funny
