Red Sparrow- I have just developed a whole new respect for Jennifer Lawrence's talent as an actress.

I won't talk about the stomach turning scenes of sex and violence, but her portrayal of Dominica is the saving grace of the movie.

She's very talented. The airport scene of the movie is the climax of the movie.

Talent grows with experience and use. I was blown away by her performance.

The storyline is a bit convoluted and i struggled a bit, but I definitely did not expect that airport scene.

I'm also a bit disappointed there was no romantic happy ever after. I'm a sucker for romance

She looks out the window expectantly and smiles, leading us all to think that this story is only getting started. With two more books in the series, we couldn't be more right. So that call means their love story continued and might end up happily because it came from Nate.

You know with Dominika's recent title in the Russian government, she can't be seen in public anymore with Nate. It's to be in secrecy. But if the novel series are continued, you may get your desired happy ending.
