nwoke37: Lol, Now I see...............so according to you guys the closer to the CBD, the richer a neighborhood is? Lol, You guys are funny. Interesting, some of the most Expensive neigborhoods are far away from the CBD. lol. You guys really have a crappy education system. |
Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by NairobiWalker(m): 11:06pm On May 26, 2018 |
Nowenuse: Nope, you just proved to me your middle class live in crappier houses than our middle class since your houses are more expensive yet they are uglier, less modern, less classy and crappier than ours. FYI Surulere is only 23 sq. km while Lang'ata is a whooping 223 sq. km. It's laughable that you try to play down Lang'ata while exaggerating the size of surulere. lol. Like I said before, you are ignorant and with poor education. Lol, 23 sq.km is what is getting this dude overly excited? |

NairobiWalker: I schooled in America, thank you. yes they're neigborhoods that are more expensive that are farther away. But generally the CBD most likely has the most expensive buildings as as you go farther out prices come down... |
Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by Nowenuse: 11:25pm On May 26, 2018 |
NairobiWalker: We do not have massive slums in Nigeria like Kenya, so our low income earners may live in crappier houses. At least they do not live in slums like the 1 million slum dwellers of Kibera. You forgot to tell me that you are talking about Langtana constituency of which Karen (one of Kenya's most affluent neighborhoods) is part of, that's why it is 223km². Are you not ashamed? |
Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by NairobiWalker(m): 11:27pm On May 26, 2018 |
nwoke37: Wrong again - different cities are unique and no city is exactly same to the other. In Nairobi, the Western side of the CBD borders upper middle class neighborhoods, the northern part borders upper middle class neighbohoods, the Eastern part borders low class neighborhoods and the southern part borders the Industrial Area (Railway Station to be specific). Once more, it's dumb to judge the class of a neighborhood based on its proximity to the CBD. |
Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by Nowenuse: 11:33pm On May 26, 2018 |
NairobiWalker: The majority of Langata voters come from Kibera? This tells us of the emptiness of the large middleclass langata constituency. Surulere is small but highly populated. Why do kenyans prefer living in slums?
|
Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by NairobiWalker(m): 11:36pm On May 26, 2018 |
Nowenuse: Nope..............you're wrong once again. Nigeria has massive slums. In fact the average Lagosian lives in a slum only that you're in denial. Yes, you're right, the massive 223 sq. Km of Langata does not include the middle class we showed you alone but also includes the affluent Karen Area same way your tiny 23 sq. km Surulere doesn't include middle class alone but also has slums such as Ojuelegba which makes it even more pathetic and ashames you with your drone video rotating over a small area. So Surulere is not only tiny but also most of the people there live in a slum....................such a beating to someone whose intention was to boast how decent Lagosians live. Surulere (Ojuelegba) |

Nowenuse: Kibera is notpart of Lang'ata lol. As you can see from your wikipidea source, Lang'ata BORDERS Kibera. It is neither part of Kibera nor is Kibera part of Lang'ata. It once was but no longer. Kibera is part of Kibra Constituency. Meanwhile a majority of your Surulere residents live in slums such as Ojuelegba. |

254tobby: Get this straight, majority of Nigerian students in African universities are there cus they couldn't pass the UTME here... although some do leave cus they can't cope with the stress associated with public universities here but there are a lot of good private universities they can switch to but admission to those private universities also require passing utme (unless its some baby university). When Nigerian students talk about studying abroad they mean UK,US,India, Canada,Germany, etc.. Gaining admission to universities in Nigeria isn't easy... over a million people apply every year, hence the need for UTME and post UTME to screen them.. |

NairobiWalker: Hahahaha, so the best picture of Ojuelegba you could find was a demolished area? That area was demolished of illegal structures cos we do not tolerate such in Nigeria. Can you see residential houses from your picture? Show me the residential houses in Ojuelegba let us see if they are like Kibera. Look at the Ojuelegba you are comparing with Kibera, are you sure that you are not high on cheap weed? 2 Likes

NairobiWalker: First off Ojulebga isn't middle class as you can see. Have u heard of Wizkid's song "Ojulegba" where he described the place as a place of hardship and how he had to hustle to be successful. Again ojulebga is a part of surulere. There are possibly other parts that could be considered middle class |

nwoke37: Tell that to your brother Nowenuse. He is the one who claimed Surulere is a whole suburb of middle class Nigerians and challenged as to show him a middle class suburb the size of Surulere in Nairobi. Is it not interesting you didn't call him out on his bullshit then yet now you're trying to fix the things straight after I exposed him? |
Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by Nowenuse: 12:15am On May 27, 2018 |
NairobiWalker: You are really high on weed. I told you that Surulere was a mixed suburb with mostly low middleclass and low income areas, where did I ever say Surulere was magnificently middle class? If I wanted to do pure middleclass areas in Lagos, I would have talked about Festac, Lekki, Gbagada, Ikeja, Ikoyi, etc. Meanwhile, I want to show you houses from Ojuelegba available for rent. Since you called it a slum. Can't you see how ignorant you are? Meanwhile I am still waiting for you to show me the low income areas of nairobi.

Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by Nowenuse: 12:19am On May 27, 2018 |
NairobiWalker: If you cannot show me where I claimed that Surulere was a pure middleclass suburb here on this site, then you are mad. This was my first comment on Surulere here on this thread, where I claimed that it was mostly a low middleclass and low income area. Can't you read english anymore?

Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by NairobiWalker(m): 12:24am On May 27, 2018 |
Nowenuse: I don't really care about your carefully selected nice houses in Ojuelegba. Personnally when I google Ojuelegba what pops up is a slum...............and you're really shameless at shifting goals....at the beginning of this you posted a video of a small drone recording a tiny part of decent houses in Surulere with the intention of convincing us that that's how low class and low middle class Nigerians live. You claimed Surulere is a massive suburb, if I am to use your exact wording, that is composed of decent low middle class homes. Now it's clear that 1. Surulere is actually very tiny 2. The nicer parts of Surulere are actually too expensive to be called low class or low middle class while the cheaper sections are crappy enough to be slums. Nowenuse:[/img] 1 Like |

Nowenuse: In that case your low income area of Surulere isn't worth any boasting. It's just a typical low income neighborhood in a third world country. Eat back your puke. This is not a neighborhood worth boasting over.
