Nice. I wish you good luck and speed. The LOE is not a biggie. Just keep it simple. Don't do too much explaining and tie rope round your legs. You won't be the first NOC changer they are dealing with.
Randomsue:
@newmum0615 thanks again for helping me review my NOC. I eventually went with 1221, focusing on the aspects of my job duties that were related to project administration.

Also succeeded in getting HR to include the expanded duties with my supervisor's consent.

So now I have to deal with writing a very detailed LOE clarifying why my pre-ITA NOC is different from the one I'm prooving experience for post ITA

please please someone should please answer me, I asked the question before no one answered me, it's about POF, i currently don't have such amount for pof, can I use my dad statement with letter backing it. Thanks for quick response

If you had read through the thread you would have saved yourself a lot of time and heartache. This is a simple matter made easier as its your dad. He has to transfer the money to you, do a gift deed and case closed! You cannot or rather, should not use the money as pof when its still in his account.

The ONLY compulsory requirement by IRCC is the work experience letter. this matter has been over thrashed in the previous threads. Do you need the points from the extra 3 years? whats your CRS score using only 1 year working experience?

if your points are high enough with just 1 year experience then go ahead with it since it will make you sleep better at night, otherwise, get the reference letter for the 3 years experience and any other supporting document you can get (if you want) and take the plunge!

Your 1st essay saved the day. Since it was perfect, you probably got either 8.5 or 8 as your score in the first essay, all you then needed was 6.0 or 6.5 in the 2nd essay, for example(6.0+ 6.0+ 8.5)/3 = 6.8 which becomes a 7 after rounding off.

Writing more gives the marker avenues to award more marks to you because you will use a wider range of grammar and words. It is only counterproductive if you cannot write error free because you will simply be giving the marker reasons to deduct your marks.
iPopAlomo:

I don't entirely agree... My 1st and only IELTS... I answered both writing question on a single sheet... yeah... I saw people demanding for extra sheet and my liver cut... because I didn't finish the second question per se... halfway through I realised I was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy off point... I erased everything and started again... couldn't go through as the next thing I heard was pens up... Alas! My writing turns out a 7... and it was rough... everytime I thought about it... I'll tell myself... The 1st essay was perfect nah the second one get comma... realistically... was expecting 6.5...

p.s:

Most times... extra sheets gets lost in transit...

The reason he discouraged me was this;

He said if the difference between the writing section and reading section is more than 1, he would advise me not to request EOR. But said if I am confident, I should go ahead. But from the tone of his voice, it is clear that something is fishy at IDP MOD but that should not stop anyone from seeking EOR if you are confident.

KINGTELLER:

Why did the admin staff ask you not to seek for remark, is there something fishy about the EOR for him to have discouraged you?

Thank you madam. Yes, with the three years experience, my CRS will be at 460. But I am yet to check with the one year experience. If the gap will not be much, then I will go with one year.

Thanks so much

good morning everyone,

I'm glad to be here. I just started my process. I have applied for wes and I'm currently praying and hoping for my school to send in my transcript. I wrote my speaking test on saturday. please i have a question:

The work experience field says continuous work experience. I lost my job in october last year and I started the new one this january. Does this mean I can't make use of the previous two years. Also the previous two years experience was full time however it was a combination of my nysc and pre nysc. Will this be valid to use? Thanks in advance.

Good morning Guys. Please I’m new on this great thread and I need a clarification. If I have a 4 years Bsc in Physics and another 2 years Bsc in computer science, Will WES evaluate the 2 years Bsc as an equivalent to a Canadian degree and will I be able to claim points for 2 or more certificates

I'm sure I wrote more than 500 words sha. I stopped counting when I got to 250. Cos during practice could write 250 on one sheet, but in exam day also filled front and back of extra sheet (Covers face shyly)

not recommended to write long and boring or long with errors. No need to make examiner angry lol. But if you're a good writer, I'd say go for it.

In other words you're agreeing that one has to be terrible to score a 6.5, considering you still got a 7 with an incomplete essay... Was it essay or letter you did not complete? You know they're not mates in scoring.

I don't know about the Indians, but we're having a serious grammar challenge in Nigeria. It's now proving difficult to find articulate newspaper articles. Everybody now knows how to phoonè but basic rules of grammar have been lost. We're not yet talking of autocorrect and spellcheck o...

Use this tool to check it yourself Degree Equivalency Tool. After that check here for the interpretation of two or more certificates. While you're at it, may I ask the school(s) you attended?

Maybe they'll evaluate the BSc computer science as 1 or 2 years of study/certificate. Whichever case, it'll qualify you for 2 or more certificates.
