If foreign investors are the ones selling, it means they are also trapped currently... grin

If she failed to sell last week I told her to do the needful,there is no point of selling again.
Everyone should start looking for fresh fund for a new beginning.

3 STOCKS ARE CURRENTLY STOCKED AT LOCO'S PORTFOLIO AND HE IS CURRENTLY SEARCHING FOR A NEW FUND FOR FRESH MARKET WHILE HIS TWO EYES ARE CLOSED FOR THE OLD STOCKS.

Heledy:
what is the minimum diamond can go ?
Imagine i bought the stock @3.18....
Am totally fustrated now

So sorry my dear !! ...I can imagine how uncomfortable u would be.
I recall there were a few analysis here following that very poor result from DIAMOND. ...including the extensive ones I made urging folks to SELL.
U should've sold the moment they released their YE result. ...waiting for their Q1 2018 when YE 2017 was already clearly showing some inherent red flag was one costly mistake u made. ...sure that was also the mistake a few others made as well.
@ N3.18 ur already down by approx 59% from today's closing price. ...now that's way too much to want to take any action.
Because even if u sold now with the hope of later buying lower to acquire more volume, it would make for a very minimal impact given ur current loss position.

My simple advise;
HOLD !!
Try to relax and control ur emotions. ...I know it can be difficult, but u can indulge in any off-market activity to keep ur soul busy.

If u have more fund, look out for the strong fundamentally sound coys particularly;
▪ Those whose current price presents a DY of more than 10-15%.
▪ Those whose most recent result (mainly Q1) presents an intrinsic value with a huge margin of safety when compared to their current price.
▪ Those whose management have a strong pedigree, proven track record and strong corporate governance structure.

Because coys that fall into these category will usually be the 1st to rally fast once theres a market turnaround.
...hopefully u'll recover some of ur losses.
I wish u well in ur endeavour.

Good luck to u dear !!

Which experience oooo? My portfolio was intact then (from loses) and still intact. Like I said then, words don't get to me provided it's not a physical attack on my portfolio, am good for all stones. tongue

I gradually picked up some of those "illiquid" stocks today. I was surprised at how liquid they could turn. Bear good oooo.

Waiting for the big pay day, MM go soon act on those JIJO stocks and I will pounce right after them.

Please I need help. I downloaded the electronic dividend form from the United security. The form was filled and stamped by my bank. It was sent that same day by my bank. I sent an email to United security inform them about the form I got an automatic respond from them. It's 3 weeks now and no one has acknowledge the receipt of my form. Most disheartening is the fact that no one picks my call. Please what do I do?

Keeping a blind eye to the stock while it continues the downward trajectory is more loss to her portfolio. I will prefer to sell and reenter when there is a reversal

So sorry to hear that. You waited for too long, even as at 10 days ago, many on this forum (including yours truly) still advised those in Diamond to sell when the opportunity was there at between 152 and 162k. Though we learn everyday, it is not good to learn the hard way. We all have our losses as well no matter how minimal it may be. But so far you have not sold, it is not advisable you sell now because the losses is too much to bear. I will only advise you leave it for like 6 months in order to recoup your capital.

He can leave such a stock and not even sell. Turn it to longer term investment and forget about it.

Get fresh funds and start again. If it is diamond bank, don't average down. He will get better wound.

once the fundamental of a stock is good and the stock keep falling below average price,to abandon it and look for a fresh fund is my own philosophy.
