I've just been thinking about the challenges that men and women today pass through in the search for a partner and I realize why most young people aren't settling down.


What could really be the problem. Mind you most guys and ladies sincerely want to settle down but at times, the demand is usually high.

For example, personally I'm the kind of guy that loves to save money but then most ladies won't agree they prefer spending money on their outward look for the gram and other fun stuff. It's makes it difficult to want to plan a life with someone with such mentality. I like going out and all but I prefer planning for it financially.

What has been your challenges guys and ladies?

Before I even ask a woman out, she has to reason in the same direction as I do. It's not when I want to settle down, she will be telling me rubbish.

We just marry these days because time is ticking and we don't wanna use pension money to train first born and maybe becos society start to shout "you don dey old ooo"

This is hilarious but sadly true. There seems to be no more fun in marriage these days. Everything that married couples do and even more have been done already, so getting married is out of necessity.

The economy isn't smiling as many guys are unemployed and very few are gainfully employed. For some girls they are still waiting for the sevenue figure earning guy to come marry them

I agree, the economy is not friendly, but at times I'm forced to ask, weren't things really bad during our parents time? How did they survive and still carried on with life. I think we have so much high standards nowadays.
