Lokosa can’t be dropped for now
Etebo was poor. He has his chances to strengthen his case, but he squandered them.

Guys, unfortunately, I think Ola Aina is going to miss out on Russia. He isn't a bad player but he really doesn't offer anything that we don't already have in Idowu, Elderson, Ebuehi, and Shehu.

I think Rohr purposely wanted to compare Elderson in the first half and Aina second half to see who gets cut. And based on what I just saw, I think Rohr might decide to go with Elderson and Idowu.

Reason why I think he is world cup bound. You saw how he dipossed that striker in Congo's last move forward.

It is like you still do not understand.

If you go back earlier on this thread I am among the first that have clamoured for Iwobi being assigned a central AM role.

My point is Mikel is favorite for that position, but so you cannot keep Iwobi on the bench and wait for Mikel to get tired before bringing him in when we know Iwobi is a favorite to start from the wings.
In any case I'm satisfied that Rohr has tried him out there. And Simon's injury makes our argument academic.

I would like to see Etebo on a better pitch. That pitch seriously affected play today...

Aina eliminated himself with that rough challenge that gave them the penalty cum equalizer.

Does the Super Eagles team A fill you with confidence, considering how poor they have been this year? Be honest.

Bros no be confidence matter now. Let's be realistic. Let us face the reality that this team is our WC team, not team B. Even if they do not inspire confidence, can team B go to the WC? We always want what we cannot have.

So if team B plays this team A na 5-0 e go be na given the way you laud the team B to high heavens and say team A inspires no confidence.

The coach already has the players, he wants to drop in mind. It will take only an outstanding performance to get your name off the list. I do not think anyone offered that outstanding performance.

The pitch stifled play and made the match ugly.

I will like to see Aina in the RB position before ousting him but if he was in this team as a LB only, I would rather have Ikouwem Udoh or Stanley Amuzie in his place.

Not yet. Rohr will most likely take him to England. And in that game, the real will be seperated from the pretenders. That will be the real top notch world cup level test.

This one na just monday morning work out.

We should not be deceiving ourselves, Ahmed Musa and Moses Victor are the the only wingers in the team but Rohr thinks otherwise. grin

Simy doesn't look better than what I thought.

Well, wetin man go do?

If Agbo make the team without kicking a ball na amazing grace be dat abi Rohr sees something we no see?

Lokosa is useless on the wing. Maybe he is a better striker but on the wings I say no no.

Rohr had better think twice now that he has a chance of bringing in a better and fit winger. It's not too late.
