Afterwards they would increase the school fees making it much more difficult for their own members to attend. Mtchewww. Corruption everywhere.

I have always been a very big critic of covenant university and oyedepo for his exorbitant school fee and other things. But with his excellency and consistency in every thing he does I think he has proven me wrong with his excellency in whatever he does. My children must attend covenant university if I can afford to send them abroad.

This just goes to show how totally incompetent the federal government of nigeria is, and why it shouldn't run or manage ANYTHING!!

Oyedepo can manage CU efficiently, yet govt schools are in tatters.

MTN, Glo, Airtel gave us 100mln lines in 17years,but nitel gave us 500k lines in 40+years.

Private Estates are able to deliver 24 hrs light, but govt has kept us in darkness for ages.

MM2 airport is still neat and well kept after about 10 years, but MMIA is a mess

Eko Hospital is still a good hospital after 30+ years, but LUTH is a death trap.

Diesel managed by private companies has not been scarce since it was privatized, but petrol continues to be scarce from time to time.

You know what all these have in common though asides from the incompetence of government? Pay the appropriate price for something and you'll get good service.

That's where a solid vision can take you. Imagine if Nigeria leaders had that type of vision? In my view if Nigeria just has 20 years of corruption free, focused, determined leadership, we wouldn't know this country again by 2038.

@CUHEBRON shares photo of Covenant University's Nearly Completed Stadium. The stadium is said to rival many stadia of third division clubs in the English premier leagues like Eastville stadium, Sixfields stadium, Bescot Stadium, Priestfield stadium etc

The stadium is also said to be a Fifa certifiable stadium with high(3) grade Astroturf and seats with backrest which means it can serve as a training center for world cup matches like other university stadia in developed nations. At this time it is unclear what/if club would adopt the CU stadium as an home stadium.

All hands are on deck to complete the stadium in time Covenant university 2018 convocation ceremony.

According to reports by churchgist the stadium was funded by Winners Chapel as an endowment for Covenant university.

@nobleking1994....

honestly if you have money please send your kids to covenant university..........that is the only school that is worth being a higher instituition in nigeria...............

a school where over 6,000 students are living in the campus.....24hrs light...water....no cultism.....nice environment....proffessors are well paid and are all living in mansions in the school......(most of them returned from london and america with good experience)....

the difference between covenant university and some schools in america is just nothing...........

so many people do not know that with the transcript from covenant university....it is a direct equivalent to the one in university of london.......and you do not need transcript evaluation because the school has affiliation with them.....

i studied an america and i can tell you covenant university is as good as the schools over here........i am yet to see any school in nigeria and the future that is worth it....outside from covenant university period

Within this country, we have men and women running institutions like heaven on earth. They are men and women with intelligence and wisdom this country can extract from. But no, they will rather seek men and women with nothing to show for their phonetics. I weep for this generation. Why can't we call men like this and see how we can draw from their wisdom. But no we are more concerned with tithes and offerings. We see people making exploits where we are struggling but no, we don't need them. I laugh in tongues....

Don't mind them. Let them continue to shout tithes and offerings. They think excellence is cheap. Nigeria has enough resources to beat schools abroad but don't have the intelligence. We have people here that can produce what we need but all they will continue to shout about is offerings and tithes.

Covenant has just 9,000 students. Therefore it makes no sense to build a 14,000 capacity. This stadium can accommodate all football lovers in cu

The federal government and the useless ministry of education should go to oyedepo to learn more about University management and administration, I don't care if it is tithes, offerings, sacrifice or burnt offerings they are using to develop the winners Chapel Universities but one thing is clear, it is working and the difference is clear, even Lucifer and his host of demons will beg to be admitted into the University but look at all the federal universities in Nigeria, t[/b]hey look like glorified nursery schools despite the billions budgetted yearly that ends in private pockets, useless Apc led federal criminals and political robbers grin

If you have ever been to a federal University, you would never have said this. UI, OAU and several other universities have well maintained sports centres.
One of the numerous halls of residence at the university of Ibadan can house all the students in CU with enough rooms left over.
Kudos to Bishop Oyedepo and his team for the good work..
