I'm not trivialising it but you see I'd prefer the team to be criticised on its own terms than calling for what we know cannot happen at this stage. That's why I kept saying that we have to face reality.

See lots of people criticizing the team for its inability to string passes, play well through the middle and many other deficiencies. One can hardly contest this cos this are facts

But talking about team B as a way of levelling criticism on the team is like I said too basic. Team B cannot carry what this team is going to carry at the WC.

Nwakali is good. Can he go to WC at this stage? No. Hope you get my point

The fact is that we have always known that Mikel was the only player who could hold it together in midfield. Nigerian football fans have always known that Nwakali was the closest to be groomed foe that role. Another guy who could do this job properly was Azubuike Okechukwu, but they were shut out from the team.
When I was talking about being open minded with invites, I didn't mean it starting from last week.

Those invited ahead of them cannot bring to the table what they can. Are you really happy with the quality of football you have seen from this team this year? If the Chan team played the sort of atrocious footie these guys have served up in these friendlies, you wouldn't have been forgiving. I know you na.

Hahahahahaha! OK, tell me the truth. Are you satisfied with Lokosa and Etebo on the wing?

Or are you satisfied having Ahmed Musa and Moses Victor as the only natural wingers in the team?

If not, what do you suggest?
We are not satisfied but with Kayode and co the issue of satisfaction doesn't even come Bro. They are out of the picture!

See wailing and gnashing of Teeth for what?! On a Pitch like ridges at Ota Farm? LMAO!

Offensively Ola Aina is far better than Echiejile. Moreso, Echiejile with his Experience, would have cost us a one man down with his reckless, career ending Tackle in a competitive Match.

If we can give Excuses for Iheanacho, Etebo and Co for failing to live up to Expectations due to the bad Pitch, why ain't we giving the same Excuse for Aina too?!

Joel Obi was outstandingly poor, Onazi also, we lost the midfield Battle and was dominated like we played our Home-based Team, but we are discussing Aina.

You and I know that ain't a Penalty, and with the Aid of VAR, such a Mistake won't be made at the Mundial then why the Fuss?! Aina linked up well fantastically with the Attack, he partially brought the best out of Etebo, but taaaah...... he caused a Penalty, he's not ready, he must be dropped - like wetinnnnnnn!

If we are to judge Players based on Today's Friendly Match, then it's better we discard the Team and replace them with the B Team.

If anyone deserves to be tried against England at Wembley, it's definitely Olaoluwa Aina. He learned his Trade on world class Pitches not on Farmland Ridges.

oga enough of the excuse for Aina, he has fail over and over again, if Ebuehi is fit i see aina being dropped

Sir.... we need Teamwork not individual performances. The B Team played well, the chemistry was felt by the Fans and the Teamwork brought out their best individually.
I really wish this team B that has so much captured the imagination of fans can go to the WC.

I wasn't fazed with the poor Performance of almost all the Players Today due to the state of the Pitch. In fact I lost interest in the Game at a Point and had to focuse on reading Posts here.

We gonna know who is who against England and Czech. Rohr should chill till after the England Game before cutting out 4 more Players from the List.
Czech?? Abeg let's end it with England. E don do

I trust Nigerian fans and how they switch 180 degrees depending on the outcome of every game.

The pitch really messed the whole game up.

Pinnick and the entire NFF deserve 77 strokes of the cane each for taking our beloved team to that kind of injuries threatening pitch.

They are taking 180million Nigerians for granted. What was all that show of shame for?

You take a WC bound team to a potato farm to go and break their legs abi? And some fans are already quick to start condeming the team.

Those of us that have followed this team right from that game against Tanzania know the team very and what they can do.

One of the major positives of this game is Simy Nwankwo. That guy is so impossing and so daring. He was a major threat all night.

Let's see the boys against England.

No, negligence by your FA cost you the Algerian game

Ebuehi has not played games for a while. He needs the minutes to get to his best
and not to try get him killed in that port Harcourt rough pitch...
why can't rohr let him play the first half only...sub him for another player in the second half....?
I am particularly angry with rohr...because that match ought to be an opportunity for us to watch ebuehi play..... even at that it would put a stop to the dutch FA Chase of the service of the young man.

I watched the Poland game again and saw that we were not half as bad as initially thought.

It is difficult to give an good assessment of the game today with the ball bouncing all over the place

The CHAN performances were in competitive games not friendlies. I hope to see better performances when the game means something.

I know you do not rate the eredivise. Nwakali did not really light it up when he played there. Azubuike also had a average season in Turkey. Both players are still young and will have their time.

I think, we have about the best players in the team now. We just need them to gel before the tournament.

Simmy can't play as a Target-Man for the Team, damn he's too soft and easily bullied. He's a good Prospect, but this is not his time.

I wish Rohr plays Lokosa as a Striker at Wembley, i wanna watch him leading the Attack, not playing from the Wing - on a world class Pitch.

what are you talking about, simmy is the real deal.

his the definition of a modern striker, area threat, skillful, quick to an extent and with alot of confidence.

I have always suggest nwakali not because of the athletico match.....
how about trying iwobi in that role...keep playing him there instead...let him master that role....proper.
left with iwobi and etebo...rohr will rather player the latter as 10...
that annoys me......

He never had a hamstring injury to aggravate.

He was not holding his hamstring.

It was obviously cramp from the way, he held his toes plus he was walking fine after the match.

Don't try to prove to be too smart by lieing through your teeth.

Ebuehi held the back of his thighs first before he got to ground and held his toes.

That's a sign of pain in the groin which is called hamstring injury.

If he didn't aggravate it and was walking well after the match then Glory be to God because I will be guttered if that injury resurfaced

But let it be known to you that my first paragraph wasn't a statement of fact rather that of fear and uncertainty.

This is random but I've paid close attention to our games against these European teams and I've noticed that they get significantly more corner kicks than us. And then from there they start hammering our goal post with set pieces. Set pieces are what killed us against France 4 years ago.

So I really want Rohr to make it a focal point to prevent our opponents from getting corners and defend against set pieces or it could be our downfall.

I so much believe in this team. I don't know why? One thing 'm sure of is- they'll deliver. Let the World Cup begin.

They will see sleek and pin-point passes and marvel. The goal is a sign that Rohr and the team are working.

One player that caught my attention today is TRYONNE EBUEHI. That guy is GOOD-NO HYPE. If he can play like that on that ridiculous pitch, I can't imagine what he'll be like in a well trimmed and mowed pitch. No wonder He pocketed Di Maria.

Just Imagine Mikel, Moses, Ighalo and Ndidi coming into the scene. We 'll be unplayable and that's when the Super Eagles will fly and Soar.

Ebuehi is well better than shehu
