Agbalowomeri: Remember what happened to that patient dog? The damn dog ended up with no bone. Some peeps bought Fidelity at N1.50 and when it traded above N4.00, felt like having more patience with the stock, that patience will get it to N6. They are still waiting. Wonders of NSE. |

Someone should kindly go and wake Sir Intendy up. He should go and refill his ink Biro(s). Few months back he was selflessly providing list of stocks that made 52 weeks highs, all to the delight of forum members. He should once again come and answer the clarion call, for if those MM fails to bail NSE out, our list of 52 weeks lows will start growing from end of this week. He knows what to do. 2 Likes |

74 Important Trading Psychology Truths Good read (10 mins) http://tradingcomposure.com/trading-psychology-truths/ Emphasis on dis part : 40. Trading is a path of losses. If you know what you’re doing, you’ll make sure to reap small losses. But sometimes unfortunate events will cause you to take bigger losses. If you’re any good enough at this game, you’ll make money in spite of that. 41. At its core, it is not losses that make you suffer. What makes you suffer is some idea or belief that you’re holding too tightly. 42. A person who hasn’t made peace with his past losses is likely to accept future gambles that would be unacceptable to him otherwise. 43. If old losses still trigger deep emotional pain within you, it means you haven’t healed yet. And you won’t release your potential as a trader until you do. Remember the lesson; let go of the pain. What helps: Journaling Mindfulness Exposure therapy – a.k.a. trading small 44. Stop trying to avoid losses. You can’t! Instead make sure they don’t get out of hand. And then maximize your profits. 45. Don’t resist losses; Embrace them and know them to be small turbulences on your way to your destination. 46. Profits and losses come and goe in a probabilistic manner. Which means you don’t know for sure what will show up next. Accept this. 47. Win, loss whatever emerges in the short-term, place and manage your next trades untouched, unattached… always keeping your eyes on the long-term picture. 48. When you learn to let go of the need to be right, being wrong gradually loses its power to disturb you. Happy Nigeria blah blah 2 Likes |

awesomeJ: I think qty traded and on offer are significant. The former tells the story from the buyers end while the latter from the seller's end. If qty traded is not much despite much offer it shows that there is resistance to price fall and the fall is not sustainable. Its a PANIC SELL. If qty traded is much and qty on offer is much as well, that is a scenario for GREAT WORRY. Price fall will continue, bottom is remote. That is what was experienced between April and August 2015. FPI exited without mercy. I am of the opinion that the current trend is trying to mimic that period of 2015, but I'm strongly hoping it's a false alarm cos politically and economically things are much better than they were in 2015.....#personal opinion |

safepaulooo: Don't be surprised most of the offers are not real. Might just be MM posting offers that will not be sold and inducing others to get into a panic and offer theirs for sale. After the panic offers have piled up considerably, MM mops up at the INDUCED low price. Story continues. ....A lot of gimmickry in the NSE room. You can be sure it's a tricky game! |

BullBearMkt: Obviously market has been lacking real positive sentiments for past four months. But what has been ongoing since April 2018 with the release of results is quite different bro. My argument is against popular opinion that FPI are exiting due to forthcoming 2019 elections. That story has been sold to instigate PANIC and create a situation where many are forced to sell at INDUCED low prices from MM gimmickry. They are ensuring smooth transfer of wealth. The poor market sentiment is not unconnected with this 2018 budget delay and some political tension here and there. But to broadcast that FPI are exiting due to 2019 elections na heavy FABU 1 Like |
