I was enjoying this guy's analysis not untill I got to the bolded.

The Calmness and Overlapping ability of Ebuehi is incomparable. That guy is highly calculative. He times is runs and movements perfectly coupled with great positioning which makes his recovery amazing.

How I wish we can have his stat for yesterday's game. Dude didn't put a foot wrong aside the moment he wanted to dribble and gave away possession.

Ebuehi hardly put a foot wrong. Some of the analysis make you wonder.

Hmm i disagree with your statement - Cameroon played defensively true but they also played good possession football and the goals they scored were methodical genius especially against england. Ghana played good possession football and deep probing of oppositions defense combined with good technical skills and fast transition form defense to attack. I cannot remember how Senegal played but what i do know is that none of these teams played like "Iceland" for instance i.e soak up the pressure then hit you on the break. They all played just as well as the opposition
Martz101:

The truth is, if an africa team want to win the world cup then they need to play that way...most Africa team that went far in the worldcup play just that way, Cameroon, senegal and ghana

Ndidi:

'I will say I am good and fine. I am looking forward to the World Cup. We have so many friendly games, we have been preparing so hard not just now, we've been preparing for a long time,''

''We just look forward to it and then go all the way for it, every game is very important.''

When asked if he will be fit for Nigeria's World Cup opener against Croatia on June 16, Ndidi replied : '' Yes, by God's grace''.

''All I have to say is for them to keep supporting the Super Eagles and then pray for the team, just sit down, relax and enjoy the football.''

Source: ANS

According to some bells and whistles, Ndidi wont be ready for Nigeria's first 2 games.

On Fullbacks

“We have some problems with our fullbacks, but we will work on this. We have a few days to be ready,”

“We five fullbacks, we can only take four (to World Cup),”

Gernot Rohr

Dis statement has shown dt all d fullbacks won't b going to d tourney.this has negate most f d predicted 23man list trying to accommodate both aina/ebuehi for obvious reasons.one would definitely b dropped cool

Akpeyi may be shock exclusion from World Cup, Rohr drops stars in Abuja

May 29, 2018, 7:53 am

Daniel Akpeyi
South Africa-based goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi may be a shock omission from the World Cup as officials informed that coach Gernot Rohr will announce the players he will drop from his 30-man provisional squad.

Plateau United goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye has shone in training and there are now strong indications, he will be considered ahead of Akpeyi, who at a time was the country’s No.2.

The former Warri Wolves goalkeeper was also a cover for Emmanuel Daniel at the 2016 Rio Olympics where Nigeria won bronze.

Rohr will announce the players who will not fly out with the squad to England.

NPFL leading scorer Junior Lokosa had a decent debut against DR Congo, but he will be one of the players to be dropped.

Other players likely to get the chop are Ola Aina, Uche Agbo, Stephen Eze and Chidozie Awaziem.

It is either Aina or Elderson. Ebuehi is more or less secured.

Ebuehi/Shehu are the RBs

Idowu/Aina/Elderson are the LBs

One LB will go

I agree with you but that's due to their disorganization. Everybody is leaving the championship for Messi.

Well, it doesn't work that way sad

he gave Nwakaeme a chance, 75 minutes of it. He gave Kayode a chance, at least twenty minutes of it.

It took Simy 11 minutes to show what he's made of. Rohr realizes he hasn't seen a striker that was so threatening, many fans agree with him, so, he certainly cannot be wrong
Thank you jare

Mikel is a versatile midfielder.

Martz101:

my brother if memory serve me right when mikel took over from Okocha Nigeria fans believe he was struggle in that role for eagles because his not okocha replica.

infact some people place the blame on chelsea for spoiling the once creative mikel, but some of us knew this was mikel and not okocha.

if you can remember keshi place mikel more defensively and played the likes of Sunday Mba in the nations cup and babatunde in worldcup there.

You never can tell, except he's been dropped, he stands a chance.

Also heard Awaziem isn't that fit. how true?

Eze is an aerial threat to who?

Eze cannot be ahead of Awaziem

7. Ebuehi Not In Abdullahi’s Class In The Right-Back

The Benfica new signing is one of the highly rated defenders in the team, but on the basis of his showing against Dr Congo, didn’t prove he is good enough to pick a shirt ahead of the Bursaspor defender Shehu Abdullahi in the right-back position. Ebuehi lacked the calmness and overlapping abilities of Shehu.

Lol...Did anybody see this crap. Abdulahi and overlapping shouldn't be in the same sentence

Too bad we might suffer big time from the wings incase something happens to any of the 2 wingers..

We are good at attacking via the wings and i expected Rohr to go with like 3 pacy wingers, but it's too late, we will make do with what we have.
forgiveness:

I just wanted to correct the lie that Rohr gave those players chance to prove themselves. That's all.

I have already moved on tey tey but I can't swallow lies na.

I am not even suggesting players but I know we are only going to the world Cup with two wingers except Etebo comes to the party.

Joel is a very technical player, while onazi and etebo were all bruise and power. He always gives forward pass and ecpect etebo and onazi to make a forward run but instead they both stayed beside him expecting the ball. When a midfielder is with the ball others should make forward run not staying beside or running sideways. I think he needs to play with technical players like Mikel, iwobi, ndidi and moses.

These folks are just wasting Messi's time and talent angry sad shocked
