Hmmm. I didn't say Paul didn't say that o, i said he (Paul) palnted the churches you tried to pass off to Peter. Peter didn't plant one single church in Asia minor. You talk about Church history when you neglect the heat beat of Jesus.

All the catholic church as taught you about Church history is lies. The same way the Muslims have been lied to.

The Catholic church New nothing about Christianity until the 4th century when satan tried to turn Christianity to Hellenism. He failed, he'll still fail.
I hope you don't mind listing the churches planted by Paul, Peter and the other apostles with irrefutable proof.Paul and Peter were not the only people preaching the gospel in the first century to begin with. BTW which church exactly was founded by Paul that I tried to pass off as Peter? I want historical proofs for any answers you provide here

Furthermore when these early preachers went about spreading the gospel they were not forming personal churches. The Church was one. None belonged to either Peter, Paul or any other apostles

Are you sure that all the Churches today broke out of the Catholic Church?

Pls do your research and get the truth The Ethiopian Orthodox, the Syrian Orthodox and the Christian remnants in the Asia Minor (the descendants of the real Church fathers, not the ones the catholics are claiming were Catholics) whose land the Muslims have invaded now, killed and forced most of them to convert to Islam, never went with the Catholic doctrines.

The Catholic Church seems to be the bed rock of Christianity today because the Roman Empire which adopted Christianity as it's state religion (albeit, pretentiously) used it and from Rome it's sole seat of power power spread around the then known world.

Should we begin enumerating the various ways the Catholic Church tried to truncate Christianity as opposed to what Jesus commanded? For starters, we, as Christians are told to take the gospel and spread it to the ends of the earth, but the Catholic Church wanted it locked down Rome. In the hands of a few elite priests, in a dead language only few understands.

They wanted total control of the gospel. But satan doesn't know that the Holy spirit is in charge of the church on earth.

What Nimrod attempted to do by mobilizing men to build the Tower of Babel to keep people from obeying God by spreading, is the same thing Satan behind the Catholic Church tried to do, again.

Satan's tactics hasn't changed.

The Bible says, no idols, or images, but look inside the Catholic church.

The gates of hell shall not prevail against the Church.
Are you dumb or what? How can you come here to disgrace yourself like this? You do not engage in any argument like this without any sound knowledge of church history. The Syrian orthodox, Ethiopian orthodox,Assyrian church of the east and all Eastern orthodox churches broke out from the Catholic Church between the fifth to 11th centuries. A simple Google Search could have educated you.

Go and read about the non-chalcedonians, east-west schism etc The funniest thing about you mentioning them simply because you hate the Catholic Church is that they equally practice all the things you condemn in the Catholic Church including use of images, veneration of Saints, honour to Mary etc you are indeed ignorant

All the Churches in Asia Minor which were the Churches Apostles John received warning from the Lord for, were planted by Paul. Read Acts of the Apostle.

The church of Antioch in asia minor was already existing even before Paul was converted yet this slowpoke claims Paul founded all the churches of asia minor. Not to belittle Paul's great achievements in Christian evangelism during the first century but the task of spreading christianty was even far beyond the work of the twelve apostles or st Paul.Lots of people not even recorded in the bible participated in spreading Christianity as clearly described in acts 11:9 Now those who had been scattered by the persecution that broke out when Stephen was killed traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antioch, spreading the word only among Jews. 20 Some of them, however, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, went to Antioch and began to speak to Greeks also, telling them the good news about the Lord Jesus. 21 The Lord’s hand was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord

There was nothing like the church of paul or the churches founded by paul or church of peter etc. This slowpoke wants to create the impression that Pentecostal like one man church existed in the first century which is a fallacy. Both Peter,Paul and other apostles wrote to and preached to same churches. There was nothing like church of peter.Paul wrote to the galatians and other Asian churches .Peter did same too.

Well, there are two kinds of people on earth, those who say 'Father, thy will be done, and those to whom the Father says, well then, have it your own way'. The means will determine the end. Enjoy your mother church.

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE ARCHBISHOP & ALL CLERGIES CONCERNED...

The Catholic churches, these days don't care about members coming to church with their bibles.

From my observation, whenever they take their day's readings, they don't include the bible verses & chapters, so you having a bible is also useless.

In my area, the bulletin used to be N50/day, but now they've merged it to produce weekly bulletin @ N200/week. For this reason, most people don't buy bulletin anymore.

The last time i attended a night vigil here, the place was poorly lighted such that i couldnt view the bible content.

For the sake of those who just attend Sunday mass, they shld encourage people to join societies that are into Bible Studies. The prices of bulletin should be moderate, & Bible Chapters & Verses shld be read out for those who have their bibles or cannot afford the bulletin.

@ the bolded. What that means is that, when Jesus appears, a lot of you will be depending on your priests or pastors to answer for you.

God is not stupid for making it possible for the Bible to be written in a common language and in diverse translations. The Catholic church wanted the Bible locked and kept away in a dead Latin language which only a few priests would understand and tell us what they want us to hear. but the Lord has made it available to all, none of us has any excuse for not knowing what the Bible says about anything.

Buy a Bible, read it everyday. Go out preach it, win souls and advance God's Kingdom.

Jesus is coming soon and the souls you won will be the rewards you get there. Whatever you get here, including your flesh remains here. If Christ returns while your spirit man is still dead, na you sabi o. We are here shouting it everyday. Jesus no go ask you which church you dey attend o.

I don't know how many times I have heard this lie that the Catholic Church kept the Bible locked in Latin, it seems you guys think repeating a lie frequently will make it true.

the Catholic Church actually had the Bible translated in the vernacular inasmuch as the language was relatively stable, in fact before matin Luther began his German translation there were already 13 German translations of the Bible.

2ndly Latin was not a dead language, anyone who could read in those days could read latin , because Latin was the language of education through out Europe just as English is the language of education through out Nigeria... in fact how many could read in the vernacular?

the above simply shows you are regurgitating a lie you were told and that you are largely ignorant of medieval Europe, because if you were informed you would know that every one in Europe at that time who could read actually understood Latin because that was the language of education through out Europe, so anyone who could read at all could read the Bible in Latin, so it was never locked up in a dead language. and even though the Bible was already in the language of education, the Church still made inroads to translate it in any vernacular language that was relatively stable.

I don't know for how long you'd keep telling yourself this lie that without the Catholic Church the world won't have Christianity.

There was no Catholic Church until the 4the Century AD, yet there was Christianity fully power. Lions were being fed with Christians yet the Church was increasing.

Maybe you meant to say 'without the Catholic Church, Christianity would have been preached in all the earth by now'.

The Catholic Church hindered and is still hindering the move of the Church till tomorrow. Good a thing, no one can cage the Holy Spirit.
lol, who lied to you that Catholicism began in the 4th century because even Wikipedia disagrees, and if you managed to read up all the Christians before the 4th century you would see they were all Catholics.

who do you think were been fed to lion? Protestants? no! it was people like Ignatius of Antioch a Catholic bishop in AD107, Justin martyr of Rome in the 2nd century and a host of other Catholics.... those were the people been killed, all 1st 5 Bishop in Rome from the apostle peter were all martyrs.

this same Catholic Church has evangelised the whole world, abeg be informed.

Lies again. The first apostles were not roman catholics.

God is bigger than any church denomination, without jesus christ there will be no Christianity, with him there is Christianity and a bible.

The focus must always be on jesus christ.
when Jesus came his didn't write a book, he formed his Church and gave her the holy spirit, that Church through the guidance of the same spirit recognized certain books as scriptures and gathered them together and called it the Bible.

the Catholic Church is the original Christian Church, it is these breakaway sects that are called denominations.
