EmmGee: The Man utd board are questioning the kind of football the club is playing under Mourinho. The brand which the club built to the level of the richest club in England certainly wasn't built on negative football. Thats not the product they are trying to sell to the world. Hiring Mourinho was out of desperation to get to the top quickly after suffering since Ferguson left, in my opinion. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-5501635/Senior-Manchester-United-figures-questioning-Mourinhos-approach.html |

forgiveness: Very humble and level headed young man. He speaks fluent Dutch and much to my suprise, I thought I could get him lost with my basic Lagos Yoruba. He completely disgraced me. He plays with less show boating and more end product that's why I haven't seen him showing too much dribbling skills in U23 games. 1 Like |

somehow: That's just my fear and I know Rohr is aware. He should make sure we have capable back up for the two. Hopefully, Simon Moses' result comes out good in London. |

komekn: It's better he plays more end product than show beating. It means he is now matured. That's a good one. I hope he still have the mind to play for Nigeria after we snubbed him several times? |

tbaba1234: Yes! He didn't wow me but I am made to understand he was played out of position. Maybe that could be the reason behind his inability to do anything on the wing. |

Joebie: If Rohr already intended to take him, the performance helps his cause but if not, did he do enough to kick out another player? Rohr has watched him train for a week and will be able to make a more informed decision than any of us. Decisions on dropping players are not easy. I would like to see Lokosa again whether he makes the team or not because he deserves a second audition. I am always of the opinion that the NPFL players has to show what he can do at a higher level (because of the league standard) and he did just that when the opportunity came. Lokosa got his invitation on the basis of a great league form. It would not have gone down well with many people if his record was ignored. |

BascoVanVeli: You are quoting the wrong person. This was my post after the list was released: tbaba1234: You seem to always misconstrue wanting an NPFL player to prove himself at a higher level to mean, he hates the league. My position has always been consistent. I do not rate top scorers in the league until they can prove it at a higher level because of the low quality of the league. Whether that level is the the CAF champions league or in the national team. I am the same person that hyped Omoyele on this page after Plateau United Champions league display because i saw some quality. I was not wowed by Lokosa's youtube highlights but he did himself some credit in the DRC game and deserves a second view. Whether it comes in London or later on is for the coach to decide. My views have been always consistent on this issue and i do not put on any airs if i am wrong. 3 Likes |

@1st bolded, that’s my point. @2nd bolded, going by the Congo DR game, if we should also go by what people would say, he shouldn’t be dropped before the London trip. But it’s Rohr’s call all the same. tbaba1234: |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by tbaba1234: 11:15pm On May 29, 2018 |
Joebie: Yes, he deserves a second audition but right now is WC time, he should only be selected if he is in the coach's plans not because it is good for the NPFL. He was good not outstanding in the DRC game.. his league record on the other hand is outstanding. |

How is his league record outstanding? I thought you had said you don’t rate the NPFL?! And, It’s not even really a record yet. Truth is he showed he is a fine player and he made it seem something good can come from the NPFL yesterday. That IMO is outstanding. tbaba1234: |

Thank you so much. There is just something about his movement I can’t describe. Is that how he played for Hull City all season? If we had more time we should have tested both Duru and Utin. Mujtahida: |

Observations With the high cost of the jersey, where does the NFF expect Nigerians to get it from? 31k just like that? Shuu!!! So expectedly, the supporters club would be a representation of old things at Russia?; old drums, old trumpets, old boring, uninspiring songs, and old jerseys as well. They should number 120 in number. Abi it's free for them? Oh, I wonder how Nike would feel when it's sees the made in nowhere 7k jerseys on almost all Nigerians entering the stadiums. Lol. Next, Lokosa and Ajiboye deserve all chance to start against England. Same for Omeruo. Let Nacho sit that match out. Uzoho has proved himself. Let Ajiboye get his big chance as well. This one Chelsea and Roma is supporting us now, abeg o. |
