The laptop you sold me just packed up on its own and u won't own up that it was refurbished and had the logic board changed, you have refused to answer my several complaints, I am a student and I bought that laptop with all my life savings, nobody would cheat me and get away with it, I'm going to take this to any length I can !! I would open a new thread in details if you still refuse to answer me !! |

@Cassette its not my Girl you have scores to settle with but its my wall you should have commented on. First of all, i came onboard on Nairaland since March 10, 2011. On this platform, am bold to tell you that i have sold and bought lot of CARS I have sold different Spec of laptops and not for once have i left my customers in Pains over a deal they had with me. Yes you bought a US used MacBook from us ( Which we have sold nothing less than 60 Pcs), You came back 2 months later to tell us that the laptop parked up, The lady you are ranting on her page is currently on Maternity leave and i instructed her to tell you to chat me up which you actually did late Friday evening. I told you i would give you a call over the weekend which unfortunately i cldnt due to other stringent commitment. You later chatted me this morning saying you have spent 55K to fix the issue. Its important i clear this with you. Am sure you know we did not sell a brand new laptop to you and as a result we cannot vouch for previous handling of the laptop. In as much as we didn't work on it b4 selling and its actually US used with proves then i guess people are free to judge. 2ndly, [b]NO ONE [/b]would accept back a USED laptop from you after 2 months of sales and the fact that we are selling on Nairaland and we are always striving to give our customer good after sales service doesn't mean we don't know what is Obtainable out there. Ikeja Computer village people for a facts won't collect back any item that was sold for over 1 week. Prove me wrong if i am. I actually thought we cld come to a compromise and split the cost since you claimed you have spent 55K on it (Which honestly am not happy about). But since you have brought the matter to the streets. cassette:fire should consume his business? Like seriously?  I don't know how many weeks warranty he gave you but these are used items and can malfunction anytime without notice. I sell gadgets in computer village and I know no one will listen to you if you come back after 2 months to complain (even one month). Since he said he wanted to know if you can split the bills (which is highly commendable on his part) why not take the offer? You don't wish another man ill and expect yours to thrive. Let's be understanding in business, it's not always the sellers fault, these things happen most times. These are used items and you can't gaurranty them lasting forever. |

GreyBlood:i understand where the complainant is coming from, I can imagine him messaging the man and getting no reply , because he has a complaint... and now it is being pushed off as stringent reasons .. also simply because it is US used doesn’t mean it has to malfunction 2 months after, the least the seller could do was show an intrest to know what really happened.. that said , things like this scares away customers.. |

fowlyansh181:Bro most times customers don't really consider resellers too especially on fora like Nairaland owing to the fact they can go to your thread and label you bad. All I am saying is that sellers too lose money and that customers should be considerate too when a seller is nice. There are dubious sellers but the really nice ones would be encouraged. |

GreyBlood:from the above, the seller was only nice after this was made public, he never really replied to the buyers texts on whatsapp, only to come now and say all he had in mind to do had the buyer not made this a public matter .. I don’t think he ever planned on doing anything to remedy the situation, I am not saying whatever happened is the seller’s fault, but he shouldn’t come here sounding like he was trying to be a nice guy... he was being a businessman... 2 Likes |

This reminds me of Tobi's sales story in the BBNaija house. The guy said when he sold women's clothing big girls always patronized his business. The problem was they always paid quarter the amount for the good collected and never cared to pay completely. He revealed his strategy was to find their Instagram account and make it known there the person was a debtor. He said this worked very well as someone who owed him for months on end would quickly come to his doorstep with complete money the next day. |

I have picture evidences of the laptop they sold me, when I was unfortunate to open it, you need to see the way the board or whatever had been reworked, several cables, cut and held up with paper tape, yes I know its not a new laptop, but only a wicked person would sell such to someone for sudden or selfish gains, ok I still tried reaching a compromise with them, they won't get back to you, as long as u have made your purchase and you are not calling for a new purchase, suddenly they would all be forming busy, but try reaching them with another number and want to buy something, they suddenly would reply to you, but when this issue came up they suddenly won't get back to you. I can confidently say, if you have quality in mind and you are looking for a long lasting products, u have to look beyond these guys if not, na sorry be your name !!! |
