Kog45: we should not be talking about players in the 35 man sqaud, who knows Rohr mentioned Nwakali name because of the current pressure from the fans to call him up. a good leader listen to his subordinate ideas and Rohr did that and his not hiding it because he sees nothing wrong with it. Make una leave this man make he work |

[quote author=Joebie post=68008660]That's why I've been asking questions. Nwakali in top 35 is a no no.. These players have to earn their ratings based on club performance.. Now more questions, was Usman, Eduok and the other two also in the top 35? Rohr definitely has some sentimental people around him. [/quote I think we are reading too much meanings into Rhor's response to d press about Nwakali. This man is very diplomatic in responding to questions and u must be on d same page to understand some of his comments. Firstly Rhor did not invite d team B against A.madrid but Salusi did. All d players that are in Rhor's WC program has been invited at one point and some got dropped along d line including promising players like Chidi Nwakali, Victor Oshimen, Musa Mohamed, Emma Daniel etc. D newest inclusions to d team are d ones that performed extremely well towards d end of d season and Nwakali did not fall into that Category. So l believe that Rhor was trying to claim a vast knowledge of Nigerian players, but having untested and unproven player in his 35man list that should be submitted to Fifa for WC can not be a reality from a conservative coach like Rhor. This man has been fair in selecting our best legs. He has listening ear to recommendations but he knows exactly what he want in a player and does not need many games to identify a player with d quality he needs. Lets support this team 2 Likes |

forgiveness:Rest. Rest. Be still. You don't have an idea how corrupt Nigeria is and that is why when I see you crying I get angry at your naivety. I don't even have problem with corruption in Nigeria. My problem is our hypocrisy. If I have my way the first institution I will disband is EFCC. How can we claim to be fighting corruption when the instruments with which we are fighting corruption are themselves corrupt. Police thief prosecuting ordinary thief. Guy go and rest. You will hit your head against this wall, you will bleed. Go to some ministries and don't offer bribe and see if your work will get done. |

Joebie: what decision was sentimental, who was there that was not suppose to be there?? please answer. And don't call Agbo and Agu because he has always like them from the start and every coach tends to like some players the fans don't fancy. Anybody body truly following this team since Rohr took over should know that this team was legit 95% Rohr list. Nigerians are never satisfied 1 Like |

Let’s leave Kayode out of it. The selection of the 30 was done collectively. Meaning the pruning down was done collectively. K. Nwakali remains a special talent no doubt. But my question is on the back of what performance did he make the 35 man list? There is also a strong possibility that all 5 players invited for Atletico were part of the 35. Come to think of it. That team was regarded as our team B, with the “best” players in the NPFL. Wouldn’t it be reasonable to also invite the “best” 5 fringe players, those who barely missed out of the 30, to join them? Rohr has not been taking decisions as regards the list independently. We heard from the horse’ mouth. This is not an accusation on Rohr. Modified I wish I could see the 50 man list lol.. Martz101: 1 Like |

Naughtytboy:Sir you are rght but with Simeon out easy for Rohr to decide. James Obiorah was marvelous with great performance against Jamaica prior to France 98 that dwarfed Simy's own against Congo but dropped. With Simeon available it would not have been easy not that he would not make it but Rohr will have sleepless night to decide. Even if Simeon later make it meaning one more midfielder need to go,hope you get my point. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Joebie: 10:51am On May 30, 2018 |
There is nothing wrong with him consulting with them.. But questions need to be asked when there are questionable events. Nigeria has not changed overnight, and I'm not expecting that to happen.. But we still have to say it as it is. I already asked the question, on the back of what performance was K. Nwakali included in the 35 man list? He is a great player no doubt Martz101: 1 Like |

Rohr consults with Salusi. Why won't Salusi consult with Rohr especially as regards the foreign players? The 50 man list have always been at their disposal. Or do u think Rohr was not interested in that "holiday game", with a view to future invitations? I've not even accused him of being unfair. Farzat: 1 Like |
