Mujtahida: idowu is not that wonderful but seem better than the two, Aina had all the chance in this world but still yet to convince. since his debut he has played all our match except the Serbia and still yet to convince, no doubt he might come good in future but for now let him improve First. |

We really lack depth in this team...our saviour will be TEAMWORK... I like it that Rohr signed a new contract and secondly,he LISTENS,not like Oliseh or Thijs Librets...with this ,there is hope that post Russia will be better |

Well on a second thought, Rohr said they had all discussed what the players could bring to the team while pruning down the list. We don't really know how the discussions went.. It's not like anyone imposed any player on him. Players may have made the list based on specific qualities, not just based on stats. At the end of the day let's have the best 23 players.. Hopefully more deserving players will be giving a chance after Russia 2018 regardless of who is the coach then. |

Joebie:why are you bothered about who was on a 35-man list? A list we never got to see, but are now making deductions based on the wailings of a renowned rabblerouser....... I couldn't be less interested who is on a list I never got to see. You know why? It is IRRELEVANT. In future, they will call other players, many of whom may not have been part of the five we are making so much unnecessary noise for. Rohr made a 35-man list, let us assume he had Nwakali there, having seen what he did against Atletico, would you then say he didn't deserve a place on the list? Do you know what Rohr may have seen that you did not see or what the back staff may have seen that you didn't see? Thank God the Nwakali gave a good account of himself, this same Nwakali is who many on this thread crowned Mike's successor, I was even glad to see him on the list, let us know if he can truly do Mikel's work and he proved he can. He was invited because we need a Mikel successor and he seemed the best option, irrespective of whatever you think he may or may not have done. Let us all not act like many people did not have Nwakali on their 35-man list on this same thread |

tbaba1234:I have no comment, they are actually the lowest in the ranking. I know some will say Ajiboy is better than this person or that person by sticking their finger in the air. Truth, in GWG he is ranked lowest. After World cup. Akpeyi will quit the scene, that will be his opportunity to stake his claim, but ha, Alampasu, Osigwe, Okoye, & Akpan Udoh are all waiting on d wings. 1 Like |

You are focused only on the immediate result.. But i'm also looking at the process that brought us here. The process is very important. Good systems is good for the society. But it's not just our way. We want great results all the time, but we never pay attention to detail. Martz101: 1 Like |

K. Nwakali's invitation was a blessing in disguise no doubt. I say that because his stats don't look relatively good. But like I already said in my afterthought, he may have made the cut because they saw some qualities in his play they were looking for. He was tested and he did pretty well. safarigirl: |

Joebie:2 or more similar players to every position right. Question is, who is closest to Mikel & let me say iwobi in terms of ball movement, positioning, passing range etc. I really don't think that anyone will lay a claim that he has truly watched Kelechi 90 mins week in week out in his club. Apart from oh he is not making the team story. We really don't know why he was not making the team. Mikel was on the bench for half a season in Chelsea, but was he a bad player, hell no. In comparison also in d mix is Ajagun. I have watched him play, he is not different to iwobi, one touch passing, but he doesn't know the dark art of drawing fouls to calm d game. Truth still remains that its 23 players, and every country has the same problem. From France to England to Germany and Argentina. This is our team, let's support them. 1 Like |

Joebie: do you see people asking who is in 35 man list jn Spain or brazil...is senseless some countries already sent there 23 man list, who told you there coaching crew didn't have a 35 man list before 23. people read things in news out of context, Rohr answered obviously to a journalist that wanted to know why nwakali was not in the 30 man list since he did well in the athletico match and Rohr gave him an answer which he want to hear. what is 35 man list, you should judge this man by his 23 man list and so far his been fair, infact most of is can predict his team so where is the nepotism?? |

I haven’t judged the man but I’ve only questioned the process. People will ask questions if some notable names are missing in 23 man list. What makes you think these issues are not also present in other countries? Saying Rohr game him an answer he wanted to hear is only an assumption. Martz101: 1 Like |

Joebie: how is a youngster being in a 35 man list a bad system or how is your assistant having a say in your selection bad system. don't you watch football matches, don't you see great managers consulting with there assistant before making change or decisions do you think Nigeria is paying those assistant to just sit beside him and watch |
