ROHRS 25 MAN LIST IS OUT. TRIVIA QUESTION? 1) Like to like, who do you think should not be in the list & mention who the replacement should be with verifiable facts. Note: it doesn't matter if the person was in the initial 30 man list or not. Time starts now. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Joebie: 12:20pm On May 30, 2018 |
I never implied that. What is bad is that those who are also deserving should be giving a chance. I know stats is not everything, but players will ask questions why they are not still getting a call up despite their relatively better performances at the club level. Well hopefully after the World Cup things will change for the better. Martz101: 2 Likes |

The Super Eagles have four game changers, save one who is not going to the mundial with them and they are Mikel Obi, Wilfred Ndidi, Victor Moses, Henry Onyekuru. 3 Likes |

realpoacher: What is Nwakali doing on the 35 man list ahead of players that did better than him? Answer. Dey deceive yourself say those players were on the 35 man list? Your stats is fake. Simy scored 0 goal in 15 matches the first season in the Portuguese first division eventhough he played as a striker. In his second season, he scored 7 goals in 30 matches and he started 24-26 matches as a striker too. In Serie A, 3 goals in 21 matches as a striker in his first season and 7 goals in 23 matches as a striker. Most of his goals were scored in the second division of the Portuguese league. GBAM. His stats is not good enough. Look at Kayode's stats. He was played as a SS in the la Liga. Today Kayode is up Lokosa, tomorrow against Simy, now na against Iheanacho? Iheanacho and Ighalo making the list is not a question but Simy is never in the level of Kayode. Fact Though Iheanacho's record in the EPL is not good enough but we know he is not a striker. He's best as a SS. Fact You claimed Kayode was blunt in the Under age grade?lies. How many goals did Iheanacho and Ighalo scored in the U20. Abeg, Kayode is not the focal point of discussion. The koko is how did Nwakali managed to enter 35 man list through the back door? 2 Likes

Optajoe fact: 15-since 1966, the most dribbles completed in a World Cup match is 15, by Jay Jay Okocha against Italy in July 1994 #showboat# #legend# |

Jarus: There is a 20% chance that we'll survive that group. We might be one of the first casualties in that group. But if we do, then I'll be surprised. I'm been really sincere here. Our recent friendlies hasn't inspired much confidence in me. I mean, 3 games where we could hardly create chances. Yet, some peeps think we would somehow miraculously enter beast mode in the World cup, citing the 1998 team (who had obviously better individual talent). In asmuch as I'm pained writing this, we should severely lower our expectations of this team so that our high hopes aren't dashed. 1 Like 1 Share |

Greetings my fellow intelligent, well mannered, incredible and gallant eagulian. Please I need your assistance, I wish to be a football agent and I want to get the FIFA license as agent and need the steps to make my agency registered and legit and need to know more about what it takes to achieve this in Nigeria as I am currently in Lagos but will not mind travelling around different states to find young talents. I have few contacts with some clubs in Ukraine Volyn Lutsk, Metallist Kharkov and Dnipro Dnepropetrovsk. I can start from there. Planning on starting with #5 million naira, it is small but for a start. My people will be expecting your mentions on this our thread 1 Like

darkelf:3 friendlies without Mikel, some no Moses. If you are fearing for us, what of Argentina that collected 6 from Spain and 4 from us without Messi? Imagine someone breaks Messi's leg. Shouldn't Argentina be as scared as us? If we have 20% chance of leaving that group, Argentina should have no more than 25% chance, Iceland 20% and Croatia 20% too. 3 Likes |

If this were to be Facebook , I for don censor posts from Forgiveness since last year but is quite unfortunate that I don't have that privilege on Nairaland. How can one average player omission from the World Cup list be so much important than the team Itself? What Forgiveness is doing is Annoying, I wish I can control what I want to see on this thread. 5 Likes |

I PRAY THAT; 1. Simmy Nwankwo does not turn out to be one Barthelomew Ogbeche we saw during Japan/ Korea 2002 who deceived Baba Onigbinde by an acrobatic freekick in a friendly game only for later at the world to fumble when we needed him the most. 2. No more Super Eagle player get injured before, during and after the world cup. Just think how Moses Simon will be feeling now. 3. The best players were not dropped and the mediocres selected because the formers' C.Vs were not rich enough. Hope we dont later regret why we didnt take Lokosa, Ajiboye, Kelechi Nwakali, Samuel Kalu, Henry Onyekuru, Kayode Olarewaju etc. 4. Super Eagles visit to Aso rock will usher in the TRANSFORMATION... Sorry (beg your pardon), CHANGE we need for the good of Nigerian football. 5. Super Eagles get to the Semi finals of the World cup. Nothing is impossible. 6. Mikel Agu is dropped and that Rohr makes up is mind on who to drop between Ola Aina and Chidozie Awaziem 7. NFF will not make Russia 2018 a jamboree affair and that players will be paid promptly 8. Amaju Pinnick will be elected back into office in November. He's done so well. 9. If Super Eagles do well at Russia 2018, Bubu will not embarass them with only a presidential handshake. GOD BLESS ROHR GOD BLESS SUPER EAGLES GOD BLESS NIGERIA 1 Like |
