Yeah we aware about the 3 X jf17 fighter jets but how long his it going to take in procuring such cheap aircrafts, it's quite annoying.

I take exception to..."cheap aircrafts". I emphasize they are not cheap aircrafts. They are good value for money considering the capabilities they bring to bear for that price—A price impossible for western aircraft with comparable capabilities.

The NAF knows what its buying. A lot of developments is still going into that aircraft accounting for the delay so far. This smart buying is what Trump is now teaching the Americans. It's a waste buying overpriced birds.

The budget indicates its a NEW project so, unless someone messes things up somewhere, this would be the first time we are actually going to PAY for the procurement

In the last year budget 3 jf 17 was paid for.

So these suppose to be part payment/balance or for 3 additional jf17 jets.

Am not saying they are not good.

My point his if we are buying F16's or Mig35's, how many years would it take us to land them.

Was wondering about that actually. In the breakdown of the navy's capital budget, items like: procurement of 1x 38m seaward defence boats were listed as ongoing. Meaning the procurement process was on. Also, 'balance of funds for 3x 24m OCEA boats' was also listed as ingoing thus the process was completed and payment was ongoing.
The jf17 however, was listed as new procurement both in last years budget and this years budget.
I think either the funds were not realeased, or the procurement process didn't start like it was supposed to. Or its a new set of 3 jets under a different contract.
(I don't want to mention the thought of repeated items in the budget to inflate figures for looting).

Three of long awaited JF 17 not in the budget. This is either payment for only one complete (1) bird or airframe for three birds with engines, radar and avioincs already paid for. The aircraft are not really ready for Nigeria. Pakistan needs at least 24 more of them and it seems Nigeria asked for some special requirements to make them more effective. I am thinking we will get the aircraft in mid 2019.

21 Sqd is sucking SAAF dry....VIP travelling expenses should be the responsibility of the presidency not SAAF..... There have been calls for 21 sqd to fall under the presidency for years now but those calls have fallen on death ears.

Please is the M16 riffle more better than the C21 tavor? Because there's a video I watched that listed out weapons used by various special forces, even when they called sheyetat 13, they didn't mention the C21 but the M16 was mentioned as a weapon of one of the special forces .

#Improvisation in the combat theatre- Soldiers must develop skills in improvising. In these pics, plastic bottles with slits are hung outside. Where there's poor network, soldiers leave phones inside them for a while, so they can receive text msgs.

The most important difference is that the T129 is a bit faster, with a higher rate of climb and with 20 miles of additional range. Its service ceiling of 20,000 feet is also equivalent to the Apache — a very important feature for Pakistan as the primary use will likely be in counter-insurgency warfare in the mountainous western and northern parts of the country.

It's purely geographical. Turkey is pretty much mountainious. Same as the areas around the Himalayas.

Countries such as Turkey, Pakistan, India and China need their helicopters to be able to perform optimally in mountainious regions.
